I doubt Edwards is gonna hand the spot over due to quad tightness after finally getting a crack

This. The guy played a grand final on a broken foot, no way he's not playing unless it's a serious injury.

Fun fact:
If Teddy is out due to an Origin callup , Preston will have scored 83 more pts than him

I'm no athlete but last innocuous quad strain I got couldn't play footy for about a month. Unless he's 100% they won't risky him

If it’s a strain, he gone
NRL physio says needs to be more cork/tightness to a chance of playing in 4 days

I don't think its a question of 'will he play with a quad strain', more of a 'does he actually have a quad strain or is this just a bit of ~drama'.
nrl reckons madge has spoken to the roosters/robinson about deciding on whether they pull tedesco tomorrow morning.. so something to it i suppose.

So what’s the point of picking an origin squad if they can just pull whoever they want away from their club anyway? Should have to follow the NRL teamlists ie. pick 21 players and that’s who they can choose from for their final team.

Nah it's true. Seems cooked as to just pick whoever you want whenever you wants after squads are announced.

Tedesco should say ' yeah sure I can help you out, on the condition I'm reinstated as captain'.

I mean I’m not suggesting an immediate change, I personally couldn’t care less if Dylan is pulled and Teddy plays, but for as awesome as origin is, it’s wild to me just how little control clubs have over their own players during this time period when there are jobs on the line.

Ha that is classic. VC Brown not the worst.
Hmm so this has me needing to put Weekes in a high spot on my bench but now I'm second guessing what happens if Teddy does play.
Say I have Weekes at 18, Tracey at 19, Cole at 20. One red dot (Garrick) at WFB3, one red dot (Galvin) at HLF2 - it would take Weekes into Half knowing that my next player down is a WFB right?
