    TU: trading manu in
TD: sucking it up and playing 12

I have cheese, teddy, and 3 raiders. 2 raiders are going next week anyhow, so with manu will have 4 outs next week with the bye. With Ted now going origin 1&2, manu is a safe punt as he’s proven and a final team player regardless.

If any other red dots come for next week, can trade anyhow as the only possibilities (yes I know playing with fire here) are cotter not backing up and Armstrong getting a rest. Cotter backed up every game last year and is a keeper for me, so no fussed there. Armstrong has had a fair bit of outside noise this week but it was his first poor game. If he goes, he also misses rd16 and has made 250k so can leave early.

Ranked at 16k and with 12 trades, I want to be aggressive and try to climb as much as I can rather than plod to a 10k+ finish. Would rather fall on the sword after trying than plodding. None of us play the game to finish down in the slums hey!

    Option C:
Sucking it up and playing with 10, for a score of 430. YIKES

Benji was a decent player, wouldn't rate him over Ricky though. Would be more in the 6-8th rank range for me.

Yeah not sure it's as clear cut as Benji being first then daylight. Bit of recency bias perhaps?

I'd have thought Stuart and Walters both have reasonably strong cases.

A hypothetical question based on the "getting outjumped is an error" discussion

If someone makes a clean line break on the last tackle, and has unmarked support with them as they approach the fullback, but they don't pass and get tackled - would you mark that as an error for fantasy scoring?

Its certainly an error from the coaches point of view, but I don't think should be considered as such from a stats perspective.

-8 if you bomb a try.

-5 if you bomb a try assist.

    What could possibly go wrong...

Pleasantly surprised with Plath and Weekes. Surprised

Normally, 375/7 would be a nice score....but not with 3 left. lol. Rank has blown out a few thousand.

C Teddy, Manu and May to come. Hopefully make up some ground back today.  Taking the hit for now, but looking OK for later I reckon.

EDIT: I should have looked at the late mail. Fuck. Teddy gone. Plath now captain. 9 players.

    Wow....no points. cheer

Goal-kicking Latrell, with only a R17 bye left, is a much better option than Manu, who has 3 byes left and plays this week. Also trading out Russell/Nikorima is much better than trading out Koula

MattNZ - does your wife have your laptop at the moment? If not, I could lend her mine until after the game starts.

PS Sorenson updated to 51 - he does look like a worthy and much cheaper Tohu trade out after all

Manu captain and no Tedesco in Supercoach helps though Glass half full.

That's the spirit, Rabs! Best thing about a bye-round is that there are no H2H matchups, and you can postpone your ninth straight loss

Especially after his performance last week with a hat trick. Would seem real rough, especially as they’re trying to keep him there on a new contract. Being dropped would be a quick way to have someone wanting to find somewhere else after one poor game hey

And still be hundreds of points and thousands in rank in front of you. lol. You know the FOG leagues are based on overall, right? No one cares about H2H, except me in my SC league with $2000 on the line.

Have a nice day watching everyone score points while you watch. Coffee

    Very rough.

Unless he was always seen as a stop gap but then took off, and now using that one bad game in the wet as an excuse to drop him

That is 2 to 3 players from just 2 teams not playing in R16/19. Whats your strategy moving forward?
