Sorry if this has been asked, but any reason my back up WFB’s score is yet to be added? I know it’s only Armstrong, but seems a bit later this week than is usual. It’s showing in my leagues, just not on my team list

Sydney Roosters enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves looks destined for yet another lengthy stint on the sideline after a head high shot on Cowboys forward Thomas Mikaele. But the fact he had the chance to return to the field is mind-blowing.
Protected species as usual!

The good things about owning Mikaele. He’s a point per minute guy, and it doesn’t matter if he is named on the bench or starting as he is likely to score similarly. Also the cowboys have developed a system whereby they have significantly reduced his chances of getting injured so he is like new every week.

Well done mate I told you when you were like 18k rank about 6 weeks ago you’d fly past me and many others on your charge 810 that’s fucking massive! I’m certain you’ll finish top 500 again!wolfking wrote:Finished with 810. Up from 8.5K rank last week to 2.5K currently. Captain May and Drinkwater bringing it home strong. Next week will be tight getting 17 though I think so lucky to get a leg up this week.
I got a 732 I’m happy I’ve been getting around tonight with a spring in my step. Rank up from 14937 to 7888 overall so up 7k ranks. Bought Teddy and C him but got Aitken with the VC for captaincy score. I also had Kris and Armstrong so I had a full 13. Drinky 81 great for me along with Plath 59, Soro 52, Aitken 81, KPP 54, Weekes 68 and Strange 44. Hughes and Armstrong were the bad.
I have issues next week though down to 11 trades it’s a worry and have Teddy, Aitken, Plath, Weekes, Kris and Strange on bye. I have Hynes, Grant and Cotter too. Also I have to sell that spud Hughes.
Early thoughts are
Hughes to Hands
Kris to Twal
I have 363k spare pre trades….
I do not wanna trade Strange out I want him for 16 no point getting Wighton gives me a 4th red dot in 17.
Other thoughts are Cotter to Fifita unless I should punt Hynes and hold Cotter to 16. I’m not sure what the play is. Let’s see how origin goes.
If Armstrong is dropped I’ll likely trade to Koula.
Team at full strength right now after Kris to Twal and Hughes to Hands with 9 trades left would be….
Grant
Plath Cotter Twal
KPP Soro
Hynes Dylbags
Iro Aitken
Teddy Garrick Drinky
Galvin Brailey Weekes Hands
S. Fainu Strange Moale Armstrong
Anyone got any early advice? Thanks guys
P.S if I went Hynes to Fifita and hold Cotter and he backs up I’d have 16 playing.
Or is selling Hynes jjst stupid of me given he will play 15,18 and maybe back up in 17 meaning he only misses 14,16,19 and 20. Then need the trades to bring him back.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2024 Part 46 - A dour affair
I avoided Shoes, had no slippery Salmon, no Mikaele, no Smith, no Armstrong.
Lowest score of Kiraz with 30. Captain Walker had a great score of 59. I scored a respectable 709 for the round with a full 13.
The crazy thing is I was only 4.5k in my round rank, because I missed all the massive scores of Terrell, Drinky, Aitken, JMK, Tapine, RFM, Preston etc
Goes to show that it's just as important to get a few massive scores as it is to miss a few dud ones. Overall I am very pleased with the round and my rank gain, just thought it was interesting how a solid round with no issues doesn't even crack the top 4k for the round.

How good is Terrell IRL though? Plays near 80 minutes, scores a try, 51 tackles for 0 misses and runs the ball near 150m. Crazy stats.

Very similar to my round except I had Armstrong. No massive scores but no real disappointmnets. Captained my 8th highest scorer
Still managed to jump 19.4k>13.6k
Looking strong for next week

May captaincy really papered over the cracks this week.
With 4 players scoring under 25 it looks like I finished bang on the YAFSS average for the week.
Team needs a makeover heading into next week. Hopefully can find a way through it

Selling Terrell in 2024 like selling Hopgood in 2023, but somehow it’s been harder to find the window to buyback.

Just looking at the bye schedules and I think I might need to wait until R18 to get Fifita. I don't think I could stomach it if I bought him for 14/15 and then he made origin for games 2 and 3 and hence missed 16/17/19 and potentially 20.

I'm looking forward to the shop opening this morning - haven't been this enthused for a team re-jig in a while.
Fifita, Wighton, Latrell, Hands will really give a new look to the side!

I’ve actually got excess for 16 (but missing a HOK) so going to lock in Fifita as even if he misses 16 it doesn’t matter
With DPP and Wishart excess I can cover any position from EDG down to WFB

imo fermor will only get better he's a great fantasy asset...before his long term injury he was on top of his game & he's starting to get back to that level he's such a damaging elusive edge forward
