Niukore could be worth a look at if you think he stays healthy. Starting over Capewell this week which is promising

Thanks for the feedback (everyone - I still can't do that multiple quote thing)
Niu could be a go - although if I can stretch the $ to $630k I reckon Barnett is probably the best bet.

Obviously this is all dependent on injuries / suspensions etc. it's a Rd.16 problem.

Uto is averaging 50 this season and only misses 1 game the rest of the year. Will be one of the highest total point MIDs for the rest of the season. Definitely a final 17 player this year.

yeah, a final 17 player for people who finish in the 10000's

Selling Hughes after a low score is obvious. Just like selling Terrell after 1 low score was

If he goes back to regular minutes, he'll make back a lot of the cash he just lost for anyone willing to hold him

Hey now May had two shitty scores for his price. But he did always have the upside/potential.

I think if Hughes go back to regular minutes he’s still a 30-35 average and I don’t think you’re missing out much if you forego 130pts over the next 5 rounds (he has a bye in there) and miss his peak price of 470k

Thought I posted this earlier but must have been distracted by work or something Very Happy

Random thoughts on this weeks dilemas from someone having a relative shocker this year

None of the four Tiger forwards being discussed are classic keepers (They may be 2024 keepers though). Uto will probs score just enough to make you think he' a '17/18th Man" but he will be in your 17 every week. Twal is Twal....solid but ya know. Fainu is Fainu and not the golden goose but handy & Seyfarth is not inspiring but may make some money. I have Fainu and will get Seyfarth for Hughes.

I'll probably regret the trade but Seyfarth works better with the bye schedule (which won't mean much I'll wager)

Latrell is a fun own but he's expensive and can have an absolute shocker on occasion.

Koala will score where he's priced in the long term but may get a short term spike until Murray comes back.

Wighton at 5/8 is value...if he goes back to ctr he's not. I have him.

None of these will be amazing because Souths aren't suddenly good.

I'm holding Angus, Yeo & Pat because trades and may need some collateral if I need to get Hynes/Cleary when the time comes.

My choices have been universally shit to date so don't

i think we are on the same page and making basically the same moves. i already have wighton and will hold angus and patty. unfortunately i'm a pleb with one less gun, so dont have yeo to worry about.

just looked at what i can afford with hynes/matto/mikaele/smithies out, i can get dfifita/latrell/seyfarth and have a milli to spare for the last trade. might just do koloa or equivalent just to keep extra bank for hynes or cleary. i'm not really sold on koloa though and it feels very group thinky to grab him.

there's a good chance ive overlooked positional coverage, because i haven't actually looked at that yet.

i'm a bit annoyed about latrell, i was going to grab him when turbo went down but i figured he'd play origin. even if he did (and may still), he'd have been a good buy at the time.

In a season where people are low on trades and can't get all the Origin guns back in, a 17th man averaging 50 is just fine. I will also have Yeo and Haas in my MIDs. Good luck trying to get a better 17th man in your team, as well as Cleary, Hynes, Yeo, Haas etc.

Is Sharpe not in the system? I want to trade out Armstrong to a 230k so I can bring in Fifita.

Not worried about him posting another 40+ and making 30-50k?

    2/5 scores 50+
    3/5 scores 42+

If Sharpe is fullback, he isnt making cash.

when do you pull the move though?

If the change happens it will likely be in the 24 hour team changes so thats 1 hour before the Titans game. Just means you dont get him as captain.

Any earlier then that is very risky unless its confirmed before then.

Just rumours. The guy that has mentioned it seems to have a pretty good hit rate though
