You're right, shorter season won't ever happen. The quality of the product would be so much better though. There would also be set periods for Origin and proper internationals. I can't believe England has not played the Kangaroos since 2017. England's own fault because they shit the bed against Samoa in the semi at the last WC but still.

I was comfortable playing with 16, but Garrick has effectively made that 15 and now i’m uncomfortable.

You have to question the integrity of the club trainers/docs when an independent doc is needed for Garrick there.
