Maybe it's the injuries, but more than ever the origin players are holding a lot of clubs together. Enormous workload being placed on them.

that's why they get paid the big bucks...they want to back up as well so i don't think they worry about the burden it's their job & they get on with it

It's not necessarily more work though is it? They get the week off beforehand. Only more work if their team has the bye in 13,16,19. And for guys like Barnett it's actually less work

I didn’t realise this guy is 27 years old as well.

There’s no chance he holds his spot to R20 as Bateman, Klemmer, Twal and iPap come back

Had a bit of a look at the discount gun shop yesterday, just doing some window shopping for when we get the extra trades in round 20.

Plenty of value around the 700k:
    DCE
    Grant
    SJ
    Moses
    Murray
    Bateman
    Cook

Or in the clearance section for that EMG bench (sub 600k):
    Marzhew
    Tago
    Matto
    Welch
    Frizz
    Soro
    Wighton
    Carty
    RTS

    Tago is so cheap Shocked
His stocks should go up once the Chin is back

It's a bit like the Moses and Penis combo

Hope so. Should've bought Sharpe last week instead of him or even just held Brailey and made no trades.

He got 19pts Cleary last game

Definitely considering Wighton in for Garrick. Gets me up to 12 players this week, and an extra 200k. After next week theres also no more byes for the Bunnies and provides handy coverage with the DPP.

Only leaves me with 2 trades to cover the next few weeks which is dicey, and only have 17 next week and thats if Twal suits up, plus duo of Haas/Carrigan arent rested too. So getting thin on back up plans.

Might be worth the risk sitting at a rank of 5k in order to keep up and keep rising ranks.

I think a lot will be playing 12 this week with Garrick ruled out.
I'll have 13 this week, but only have 16 for next week if Haas backs up

    so, 11 green dots.

need at least a WFB and either a HLF/CTR.

campbell tempting. bye next round frustrating. it might be Teddy time.

Plath might be a handy in too and i think i'm short a mid next week so thats.. also handy.

i have tuilagi and jbrailey so its fairly easy to just pull the trigger on these two, to get 13 players.

not owning terrell this week is not a good time.

i'm sure 13 will end up being 10 for reasons.

Tossing up getting one more this week with a sideways trade...don't want to spend more than 1 trade

Brailey to Api......someone I don't want to keep for someone I don't want to own (but could live with)

Garrick to Teddy......Someone I want to keep for someone I want to own (feels like I should find another way to get Teddy, also creates another issue in rd 19)

Looking at selling one of Piakura, Hopgood, Barnett

Piakura - a bit shit but also means I drain my cash reserves to replace with a half decent R16 player. Does play R19

Hopgood - easy sell if any negative info about injury, but currently due back round 17 according to NRL. Is a keeper at two positions ie perfect final 17 interchange player

Barnett - doesn’t play 16/19 thanks NSW selectors, not quite a keeper. Would be a one week buy and sell lol

Leaning Barnett but will go Hopgood if get some solid mail.

Tago's great run of scores last year actually came while Cleary was out of the team (although maybe he was on Luai's edge then and benefited, I can't remember)

Plath sounds like the one for you. Benefits you both weeks and you should be all good to cover their bye in 18?

Have spent the whole season being somewhat grateful I don’t own Api. A lot of frustration has been aired in this forum over him.

But I am somewhat tempted that he can turn it around in the run home and like you say I think I could live with it if he doesn’t light the world on fire
