Does Teddy solve an issue in 17?
Think it’s a significant upgrade unless you lose CTR cover in the deal

Other trade is also an upgrade especially if Api fits your team for both 16/19

Tago's great run of scores last year actually came while Cleary was out of the team (although maybe he was on Luai's edge then and benefited, I can't remember)

Tago makes a lot of runs where he doesn’t receive the ball for a CTR

need at least a WFB and either a HLF/CTR.

campbell tempting. bye next round frustrating. it might be Teddy time.

Plath might be a handy in too and i think i'm short a mid next week so thats.. also handy.

i have tuilagi and jbrailey so its fairly easy to just pull the trigger on these two, to get 13 players.

not owning terrell this week is not a good time.

i'm sure 13 will end up being 10 for reasons.

Plath DPP is super handy. I need 2 WFBs and probably getting both Campbell and Ted.  Don't see any better options.  Isaako maybe if you think he can get back to gun status.

Plath sounds like the one for you. Benefits you both weeks and you should be all good to cover their bye in 18?

Potentially an issue with JMK and Lemu already i guess

I got Api for 550k in round 14, been posting mid 40s so far, I don't like the missed tackles, but happy with his output so far.
The Hooker position has been pretty meh, so mid 40s isn't a bad outcome. Bring back CS9

I can't do it after selling 2 weeks ago. Was bad info somewhere that I read that he said on podcast he was a month away. I got 2 good scores out of Latrell I suppose and would've been 14 players less 99pts in Rd 14 so would've dropped ranks significantly.

Have to see how Papy comes back at least and then no point getting before Rd 20

Might be a better option for me to assist in affording cleary. Need to look at my team properly first

He feels pretty risky due to injuries though

    Teddy scoring really well too

    Thanks Chaps

Api probably helps team balance better (16 & 19 coverage) and plan would be to flip him to Grant post byes (yeah, like that's going to happen). I could stretch for Cook and be done with it but that creates a problem next round and leaves the bank looking thin, sort of regretting the Wighton trade in which takes up a valuable bench spot in 17.

Teddy would be lovely but currently am dancing on the edge in with 17 in 17 and Garrick should be back from there on in so Api is the more sensible play (unless Teddy gets a tonne this round Very Happy)

Ended up with significantly more Origin players than planned but tbh given the trade situation I'm not overly bummed about it

Down to 5 trades. looking at 2 options.

Both in theory mean that I only need 1 trade in round 19 to have a full squad each week.

TU: Brailey Cotter to JMK/Api + Aitken (leaves me with 3 trades)
TD: Brailey Cotter Koula to Api + Farnsworth + J.Campbell (leaves me with 2 trades)

Tago is a prime example of why gun outside backs are a poor use of funds in starting team

Down 250k on peak price and could pull out an 80 any week to offset the 20s and 30s without attacking stats. Been some absolutely shocking scores since round 8 though

Papy does seem to be flying under the radar a bit actually. Hadn't thought about too much but does appeal, an injury risk no doubt but it seems so is every player in my team at this point.

Annoyingly like 25k short on making it work nicely to still leave funds for Hynes next week. Brings the potential waiting an extra week for Hynes given the BE and hoping he doesn't banner approach into play.

Papy was getting pretty close to trade out territory before the injury

Without the goal kicking he isn't a keeper or a cow.

Scored basically a try per game for a <45 average

Similar to Jayden Campbell but atleast Campbell has a better bye schedule

i need a hooker for 13 this week, but i hate all the options. i guess koro is the best value/scoring play but i dont want him. honestly considering swapping brailey for campbell and having an extra WFB this week instead

annoyingly my wifes team is kicking my ass this year, and she has had more players in every bye round with absolutely zero bye planning compared to me by just picking guns and fun players. ironic

    What are your thoughts guys:

I'm likely making 2 trades, leaving 5 left, and getting 12 out on park this week.

TU: SJ + Campbell, $98k in bank
TD: Tohu + Campbell, $178K in bank

Agreed on all fronts. I'd be trying to find the extra cash for a Tedesco. Probably not a keeper without goal kicking, but you could back him to go on a run...
