Assuming the final round is similar to every year prior and everyone has like 6+ red dots, a trade in the final round could be worth 50+ points in 1 round as you wouldn’t otherwise have a player.
I should repeat to myself so I don’t run out of trades before the end
I think a lot of people will be down to less than 17 players before round 27 this year.

With most teams having 1 bye (12 rounds left) this basically assumes the person you buy averages 5+ over the person you trade out
Looking at last year final round most of the targets for trades when 65+ with a few 80-90s
Some people are saying dont trade Kelma, which will easily gain 100+ points, crazy.

Its why the Fantasy site thinks I am a Titans fan. less competition to win the supporters league
But as I see it main options are
drop Kini (play either Brimson 1 + Campbell 6 or vice versa)
drop Campbell
play Brimson in centres
No idea what Des would prefer. Whoever is dropped from starting could well end up as 14 on the bench
Anything else likely, other than lineup changes forced through injury?

More specifically, they are saying don't trade Kelma to Rueben Porter, especially when its your last trade
A better option for gaining 100 points might turn up next week.

Yeah exactly, that trade does not have to happen this week.
You force it and then next thing injuries, suspensions etc mean that a prime $400k guy pops up come TLT next week and you'd be kicking yourself.

Bateman back R17 definitely changes things.
Leaning towards Wighton thanks to the suggestion from Rhinoceroo. Should score pretty well in the halves, especially with Latrell out, should take most of the kick meters. Souths on the up, and reduced value due to an injury game.
Looks to have the most potential upside of the options in the Kelma price range and only has 1 bye remaining for the season.

Tuilagi to Wighton is a miles better trade.
You know he'll play every week if he's fit, and if he's in the halves he has a reasonable floor with a good ceiling.

As a Wighton owner he's been very underwhelming. He got a very late try assist and junk try to give him his only decent score. He's been meh the rest of the time.

I have Wighton & have watched him play the last few weeks at 6....he's a pretty random scorer and a pretty random player.
I imagine he will knock out a couple of decent scores over the next couple of months but he will also knock out a couple of shockers....he's definitely a play for the average guy.
In the plus column he is very reluctant to pass

Do I need to reverse my Porter trade? I thought you were due for a win so was backing it in.

Wighton's 3 scores at 5/8th this year are 34 in 43 minutes, 57 with a try and 30
Last year he averaged 37 there
I don't think you can get better without paying a crapload more

Having to choose from a bunch of best worst players and running a thin team to deal with trade limitations has made this probably the most boring year of fantasy and NRL for me.
I don't think increasing the total number of trades or even introducing a "utlity bench" player would be a terrible idea for next season.
The utility bench player could act as an AE in case you have:
1. Player who suffers HIA and has a score less than 50% of their average
2. Cannot field a player in a position in your starting line up.
3. You are given an extra $500k starting salary to choose your AE and this player can be traded under normal trade rules.
Additionally it would be good to have trade boosts like supercoach in case of weeks with mass injuries or outs. (4 trade boosts give 4 x 3 trade weeks).

The quest for a 230k shitto with reasonable job security has ended with Jetski. May not play this week, should see minutes on the broncos bench, if not starting with Rikki's suspension
