One win separates the bottom six teams at the moment, doesn't seem an unfair descriptor

And Welshy, if you're trying to turn around a fallen gun why not Marzhew? You could take him back to his old name and everything.

As a Tigers fan, I just feel its important to point out that not only are the Tigers not last, but Parramatta are

    Marz/Gutho/Tago

Probably Sharpe is the smarter play due to price?

I'd go down to Sharp but with those other 3, I'd prefer to spend a bit more and go Isaako.

I watched the Titans presser today just to get a feel regarding Kini staying in the team.
I might hold of on trading Atkinson this week, play 15 and get Kini next week when Kini is named at FB and AJ is named at CTR

I view the others mentioned, especially Tago as Isaako before he regained his value.

Some average early season form and only now regaining some value to starting price

currently priced almost 100k higher, would rather punt on the others returning more value I think

JMK, Ted & Haas for me.
Confession: I sold Haas and bought him back in ... so that's probably worse.

I saw that at the cinemas! Yagoona Schooners and the other team of ex-footy player ring-ins was Double Bay I think. Which is classic Sydney class divide.

Brett Kenny was meant to be the star Double Bay player but on account of being 10 years older than the other players he looked pretty ordinary next to the likes of Brad Clyde and Wishy

Not long after the Final Winter came out, starting and ending the golden age of rugby league films in Australian cinema. Again saw at cinema, haven’t seen since, but feel it was a poor man’s This Sporting Life

    Pre planning

    Fa'alogo - Sharpe
    Talau - Hynes

As Rhino once told me, Talau - Hynes is sideways as they come! But I'm willing to run the gauntlet

Do I dare dream of not making a trade?

Prior to Sunday was thinking Galvin to Hynes, but wonder if this is now a scenario where I should take the cash over points.

I don’t think in one trade. Max King maybe, but think need the MID cover

Could do something like Strange/Piakura to Hynes/Sharpe but trades are tight

I think that second effort is worth it mate

Unless you really want Piakura for R19 numbers

Thoughts on what to do with this team?

First thought is Fa'alogo to Sharpe, and want to yeet S Hughes or Mikaele this week if I can (would mean playing 16 but holding those guys isn't much better)

Samuela Fainu seems the obvious option to shore up my forwards (given how back-heavy my team is) but feels bad buying him this late.

Round 20 at the earliest I believe. Knowing this season he will come back in round 19 by some miracle and Sharpe might be dropped who knows! NRL physio said he’d be very shocked though if he’s back Round 19.

So it was a 695 for me in round 16 with 12 I had playing. I didn’t make any trades I have 5 left. Rank up from 7779 to 6736 so up about 1000 ranks. Tapine, Fifita, Moale, S. Fainu, Galvin and Teddy all went very well for me. S. Hughes 27 in 27 mins was underwhelming he might be on the chopping block this week. Wighton 38 is meh I was hoping for a bit more.

Thinking I might look at Sharpe but not sure yet will wait for TLT as no doubt that’ll throw plans into chaos. I’ll say some prayers before bed shortly that Twal is named tomorrow do not  even care if it’s off the interchange I need him! Will have Wighton, Moale, Fifita and Garrick on bye this week. So will need Twal named as I said and will need Grant to back up.

Currently I’m short 2 WFB for round 19 so that will need addressing.

Has been a struggle for me this year one thing I got right is I held Hynes so save the headache of having to get him back. My gut told me he would be dropped from origin and my gut was right. 6.7k rank isn’t where I wanna be been a long time since I’ve been back this far but I won’t give up. Rank before round 13 was 15k so I’ve done well to plug back just over 8000 ranks. Sitting just 200 points outside the top 3k and 280 points outside the top 2k so I won’t give up we will keep trying and make the best of it.

What happens to Fletcher Sharpe when Ponga is back?

People just going for him as a few week cash cow still?
