Double win last night, didn't see the game and came out of sportsbetting retirement to load up on blues 13+

Scrolling back through the forum, it looks like origin chat almost got in the way of rabbits21 asking whether sharpe is a no go.

Origin is fairly tame really. Some club rivalries are more bitter.

Is it too late for JHughes with Munster due back soon? Would be good C option this week and Storm and Raiders have best non 19 playing schedule with no more other byes

even as a Q'lder I agree with the lifting tackle take. RTS doesn't let go or try to mitigate the tackle at any point.

I'm a bit more suss on the late shoulder to the head of the Kicker, given the suspensions we have seen handed out this season it seems a bit light on. Martin had every opportunity to either pull out or lessen the impact and choose not to, imagine if Latrell did that while playing for the Bunnies.

In defence of the tin-hat wearing brigade, it isn't the players, it's the officiating.
It doesn't take much to lean the way of one team over another - allow the 10m to become 8m, ignore players racing too early off the line in defence and suddenly we have "what a great Origin tackle". Allow some extra niggle, working over in the ruck and one team is suddenly dominating in the forwards and field position.

I am now a sceptic about Origin. I lived through the Grasshopper era and I'm telling you the ref can and does impact the outcome of the game.
Even as a Blues supporter it's pretty obvious that Klein was turning a blind eye to some of the NSW tackles etc. last night.
If you don't believe me, keep track of the penalty count / 6 agains in Game 3. The Queensland line speed will be "amazing", and somehow NSW will get out muscled through the middle. Once this happens, fatigue and the extra time the playmakers need takes care of the rest.

I can squeak in a Carrigan/Strange to Hynes/Tago trade but it feels like i'm letting a keeper in a hard position (MID) go to get 'the' keeper........decisions

A loss for the broncos most likely kicks them out of the 8.

I don't know about getting rid of Carrigan. Consistent Mid keepers are like gold this season and I think Carrigan is up there with the best.
