My stupid idea is Johnston. Probably going to score 10 every week but at least has no job security issues
Haha yeah that’s fair. Will have a closer look after TLT, surely an option crops up. Pryce handled himself pretty well but JS issues.

Anyone ditching Dylan brown this week?
Or holding on for a possible good score in R19 before ditching later

I have Hynes and Galvin as R19 halves, so Dylbags would likely just be loop fodder and not essential

I mean the reason I’m getting a WFB cashout is primarily to afford the big priced guns with the R19 score as bonus

I almost pre-emptively cashed out Koula this week to get some money

If I had traded him out and then he became everyone's trade in this week with the fullback spot, that would have been most annoying. Now I just want holding him to pay off.

    Do you?

What happens if you play 1 short that week and save the trade?

I mean, if Koula does play fullback in R19, and for a bunch of weeks after that then it’s probably a good trade. But if he goes back to centre, after a couple of weeks, or is dropped from the team entirely, how happy will you be with 35 extra points in R19 for that trade?
I’m playing 3 short at the moment.

No WFB keepers will be playing because of the bye and/or Origin. Don’t think I benefit at all from playing with 10?

Holding for R19 and probably selling R20. Haven’t gone Hynes yet so genuinely see them as pretty similar scorers in 19 (Brown 58.5 without Moses this year, Hynes 63.3 with Trindall)

Was stunned when the fox commentators late in the game yesterday had a brief but serious debate over which one of Douehi or Naden would make way for Olam as if the answer required any thought whatsoever.

There's a chance Naden plays wing with Faataape making way.

But its funny to suggest Doueihi might get dropped from the team

Averages 48 with Moses so with a 29 in the books already that means a 67 this week.

    Easy math

On a related note - who do people think will be the best 3 WFB to finish with (r21 onwards)
Lets assume for this that Ponga and Trbojevic are both fit and playing

Edwards, Latrell and Jayden Campbell are the 3 highest averages - and none of them have any byes post origin

Edwards and Latrell good bets to stay top 3 assuming they stay fit. Jayden Campbell could potentially drop out - on top of current injury there is the return of AJ Brimson that may impact his scoring.

Teddy, Lomax, Ponga, Drinkwater, Walsh, Kiraz, Trbo, To'o all potentially viable, or more left field options like Dom Young, Pryce, Hammer, Kini, Weekes, Papenhuyzen

Almost none of them play R19. I suspect you will be better off taking the hit, or going someone quite cheap as cashout - otherwise you'll probably lose as many points as you make in subsequent rounds when the big guns return.

Long term, I have no chance of affording both Edwards+Latrell so will be looking to save money.
Drinkwater and Walsh tickle my fancy at the moment with best combination of price + potential, but neither play 19 so I'll just wait a week or 2 and see what turns up.

I want to, but with Salmon and Kris still in the 19 I think Dbags stays until R20, will be awful to see him drop to low 600's though

Yep agree. In my situation I’m hoping for at least 1 cash out that plays that week.

Looking at the teams that play it looks like Jye Gray might be as cheap as we are going to get

That price drop is the main concern. If I hold him til 20 it's highly likely I can't afford Cleary/Hynes without cashing down someone I don't want to

I think he and Hynes will drop similar cash this week, so should be fine on that front. How many trades left?

Before last night's game, it was no secret the roosters were going to launch an aerial raid on the short tigers wingers. Benji may have no other options, sure didn't look he had anything prepared to combat it.
