He's a good role player, probably underrated because at half you either are a gun or completely shit with no middle ground in the eyes of most fans.

Yeah, Cowboy fans are rejoicing and Roosters fans are extremely puzzled by the Townsend signing, it is pretty funny to watch.

Yeah this. I think Townsend was a pretty big part of Cowboys improving in 2022 after being dogshit for 4 seasons, and Dearden having space to develop into the player he is now. While he's obviously in the twilight of his career, not sure they have a sideways player to slot in, let alone an improvement. Anyway time will tell.
