I know Moses on Origin, and Paulo, Hopgood, Simmo and some others injured, but not sure a team that looks this shit with a handful of outs was ever a serious contender.
Hopefully Jason Ryles is as good as Shane Flanno at turning things around. Lomax stepping from one shitshow to another lol.
As an aside I met Jason Ryles a few times growing up - used to play front yard footy with Glen and Bret Stewart and a bunch of fellow plodders often. Their older brother would often join in, and sometimes their older brothers best mate from footy too. You sharpen up quick having a couple of 14yo rep footy players throwing 15m spirals at you at age 10. But also let's just say he wasn't exactly book smart.

Guymer comes along named as cheap MID for a good R19 score and potentially decent emergency for rest of the season

at least lucas starts & he seems to do alright at ctr but he may have lost his edg starting spot
