I'm mad I miscalculated my H2H and went Weekes to Fogarty instead of no trades and leave 5 left instead of 4 just because WFB cover. I think their EMG had been added in H2H tally but mine hadn't until last game as Iro for Garrick at CTR. I think Fogarty will do ok long run and have Garrick coming back so probably won't ever need to rely on J Tago

Season done for me. Might still pop in here and there, but I'm not sure. In my mind I love the footy, but one of the first things I did this afternoon was cancel my Kayo subscription (which I usually do just before the finals series) as I realise I don't have the desire to sit through matches with no Fantasy interest, lol. Eels battling it out for the wooden spoon isn't a big drawcard either.

Of course I'll watch free-to-air, and I still have my subscription until the 18th of August, but looking forward to a bit of a break too.

At the end of every Fantasy season, because I'm a massive nerd, I always jot down a couple of lessons. Biggest take away this year was not to invest as much time and thought into it next year.

I spend under 10mins a week on my VSDT and SC teams and am doing relatively well in VSDT and experiencing a late charge in SC... either way, definitely doing better in both than Fantasy, where I spend all my time.

Hope I stick to it next year, but short, sharp and sensible decisions without the second, third, fourth and eighty guessing every move is my hope. This was the first season of Fantasy I haven't enjoyed, and I assume that's a lot of the reason... that and the injuries, maybe? Not 100% sure.

But yeah, hard realisations today. Can work all year to get highest team value; really good, strong squad with depth - on paper, but it only takes one weekend to remind you it's still 90% luck, and luck gives not a single fuck about months of planning and building, lol.

Anyway, like I say, I'm sure I'll still pop in here and there (I assume mostly on game days for a laugh or two) but if not, wishing all y'all the best for your end of season charges and I hope a bunch of you folk are locked into the top 100 or whatever goals you may have.

Guess I'm still alive in the L6 League, so I'll see that through, even if I threw in a last minute fuck-it-I've-got-nothing-to-lose trade on McLean to fuck, I can't even remember the Panthers' fullback's name... but that dude, hoping for a beyond-the-realms-of-christ miracle, and of course great laughs were provided when Mclean scored more than him anyway, not that it mattered. Needed an 80 or 90 to get me interested again anyway.

Anyway, what a rant. Reminiscent of some of my early season ones. Good luck, campers.

I’m on 998 after some updates have come through including Galvin who we both have. I assume you have probably ticked over the 1000 mark now. Felt like I had to take Talagi over Iro once he put up a good score. Actually looks like Talagi may have gone up a few points.

I'm up to 1005 now. Cleary got a few extra points which helps the masses.

I was going to use Garrick to loop Howarth/Iro but also had Brown in 18 and had to use Garrick to take his score over KPP, which mean committing to a centre choice, and I chose poorly

Not to many good options to choose from when replacing Haas. Looks like it will be one of Carrigan*, Tapine, or Murray.

Carrigan average of 60+ probably the best option even with the bye. Gonna be a spin of the wheel to split them

Really need Garrick to have another week off. Would really like to loop Gray and Marzhew again

Squad value sums up this year. I'm pretty sure I ended up at like $14.8m at the end of last season. Sitting at $13.3m this year lol
