I am doing Haas to Yeo can do Sorensen to Haumole too as well but would only leave 2 trades.BCT05 wrote:Sorensen to Haumole seems a worthy upgrade might just do that. Tempted to do Mahonwy/Plath to Ponga/Turbo as well before my lack of WFB depth catches me out. Would only leave one trade though so definitely ill advised.
Soro to Ola might be a luxury trade is it really worth it? Or better to save the extra trade for the last 3-4 rounds…….

I like Haumole over Preston or Young, or anyone else at EDG under 780k.
I think if you’re on 16 you can’t wait a week for Angus

Host is re injured mate abdominal strain expected to keep him out a few weeks. He won’t be a loss for us out there he’s been shit. Havili also re injured his hammy last week. Havili was good off the bench last week he’s a loss. Teaupa also injured his shoulder.Khany wrote:Wish south's would shut Host down for the year, and make MCK a more reliable option.
I’m hearing Cody will likely be out too with Dean Hawkins likely to play after being out 3 months injured. I’m hoping it wont affect Wighton kicking metres too much. Also if an outside back goes down mid game Cook would shift to centre with Mamouzelos back on the bench due to Host injury Cheeks can’t be the utility on the bench as he now has to start.

Watching mate I am whilst catching up on everything on here apparently if we win we play USA in the semi we’d be no hope but lose and we play for bronze. Still don’t wanna get ahead of myself Serbia could come back think they’re ranked 4th in the world we are 5th. In Tokyo we got bronze if my memory serves me correctly? Shame about the hockey both ladies and men both lost their quarters. What about Noemie Fox last night I watched it in bed it was brilliant gave me goosebumps.Milchcow wrote:

How come you buy so many crocks? Or do you simply not have a performance and fitness department?

They reviewed high performance last year obviously will have to review again on everything. It’s not all that though sometimes it’s just bad luck. I’d say it’s a combination of both, rhinoceroo wrote:

Yea thought about him over DCE so I could then have a bit of cash for my last trade to cover anyone in my team being injured to any good player.
Seems risky to use one of the last trades on a guy who has been in and out with injury and could be again at any moment too.

I haven't done the maths but I'm pretty sure all the money that Galvin made me this year was completely offset by all the cash lost by Koro and Stefano after I bought them at their peak price.

Yeah I'm considering Galvin to Munster this week to fund Curran to Carrigan

Tigers are good in that aspect as they generally balance out the ledger.

Looking at these trades;
Haas - Patty
KPP - Tapine
Soro - Ola/Starling/Ponga
Going to be hard not to do these and leaves me with 4 trades. Was looking at Ponga just as an extra back as I wanted to loop Garrick this week but thinking looping Jacko might be a better play. Can always swap from Pat to Pongdong if Jacko sucks and I can look at Garrick.
Still think Starling is worthy of the price tag but feels a bit gross now. Ola probably the play. Getting two underpriced guns and Tapine for those three seem easy trades. Could opt for Giraffe Neck over Tapine for a bit of fun maybe too.

Seeing Munster at under 600k off scoring 51 in a bad game has me very interested.
I would only have 1 trade if I sold Galvin or Iro to him but it's tempting to chase the upside given the Storm's draw (Souths Panthers Dolphins Cowboys Broncos, so 4/5 weak teams). Helps that he missed so much time that he probably won't get another rest, especially if we lose to Penrith.

If I only am running Starling and Hands and have plenty of mid cover for Haas, Haas -> Cook is a no brainer right? I don't know why I'm second guessing myself

Cook's score last week was most welcome, but the constant moving to centre isn't ideal. I'd be fine running Starling and Hands if that were my combo. I'm not sure if I'd bring him in now if I didn't have him.
