Will wait for team lists I guess. After my trade backfired last week I'm expecting Iro to still be out now.....

3 trades left. One is Chin to Carrigan. Tempted to use another on Fainu/Hands/Shoes to a gun. Hands to DCE or Shoes to Murray. Probably should just flick Faniu though but at least you know he'll play 80 minutes this week and 27. Hands and Shoes you never know.

Funny you should say that, cause fitzy did say Iro should be right this week. Not would.

With the amount of Covid still in the community, are they even declaring it still or just saying such and such is unwell.

It really feels like a non event to me, honestly. Ignorance is bliss, but what's the GO with it now?

Hands & Chin -> Yeo & Carrigun
Randall
Yeo - Carrigan - Murray
Fifi - KPP
Galvin - Dbags
Manu - Wighton
Ponga - Teddy - JC
Garrick - Koloa - Starling - Gray
Iro - JDB - Curran - Brailey
Solid cover all round, lots of DPP as well.
Overall rank of 8632
This year the main take away is to play aggresive. I've held 100-400k in the bank all year trying to be smart for the run home but in turn bled so many ranks in the bye rounds that it's killed me. Cash gen and team value is great and my final team is solid.
Happy to lock the final two trades in and see how we go.
I've played relatively aggressive this season, went great over the byes, but should have saved a few more trades for the final push post-byes.
Dropped ranks the last few weeks by needing to conserve trades.
Final 2 trades this week is the last hurrah.
On paper I should start gaining ranks again, hoping for a top 100 finish and the top spot in the Eels League

At the Olympics people were competing with it, and in NRL nobody is reporting it, so I guess now the 'possibly deadly for everyone' strains are gone, we're just happy with treating it like the flu? So like the flu probably wiping out a bunch of elderly and already unwell people and it's whatevs

Some Le Tour riders were withdrawn from competing, probably in their own best interest, rather than anything official.

Nicho Hynes will continue his recovery from a serious foot injury by missing Cronulla’s local-derby clash with St George-Illawarra.
The Sharks halfback has worked overtime to be back ahead of the finals after suffering a broken foot and syndesmosis rupture.
He remains on track to play prior to the finals with the former Dally M winner an outside chance of featuring in round 26 against the Warriors.
Meanwhile, Braydon Trindall, Teig Wilton, Tom Hazelton and Kayal Iro will be named to play the Dragons at WIN Stadium on Sunday afternoon. (Telegraph)

Yeh I don't mean to undersell it for anyone who saw it at its worst.
As bad as it sounds, for me it led to working from home every day now except one, and I'm comfy to do OT more than ever, so a sort of dramatic pay rise. Small business can eat my shorts (ode to @Noworries in the fishing thread)

Last 2 trades are Cleary and Sorensen out for DCE and Lomax. I'm going all upside and draw, and those two guys have it in spades. EDG will be a little light (Fifita and Koloamatangi starters with Howarth as cover) but I think that will do - Round 27 is going to fuck everyone's depth anyway and there's no EDGs I really want over Lomax or DCE.
- Final team of 2024:
Grant
Yeo, Carrigan, McInnes
Fifita, Koloamatangi
DCE, Galvin
Lomax, Kiraz
Teddy, Drinky, JC
Randall, Garrick, Wighton, Iro
Howarth, McLean, Marzhew, Weekes

I've changed my trade to bring him back in, leaving DCE alone. I have plenty of backs and not many EDGs, and Angus's draw is incredible.
That was quite the quick turnaround from definitely not changing them to changing them half a day later

I don't really need to use any trades, I just need all the players I already own to score well in the same week.

Have dropped out of the top 5k... Can't believe how badly the wheels came off this season.
Will do Cleary to Yeo and then use last trade as well. Thinking about binning Mahoney (knew I should have done it the last two weeks) and keeping Watson. Might get Kini and watch him finish the season the way he started it.
