That is fucking disgraceful. That's a sinbin every day of the week. Mitigation when he's standing straight upright. Fuck these refs

Are the commentators thick, of course it’s not a sin bin it was against the Warriors.
Shoulder straight to RTS head causing him not to be able to stand up and it just goes on report.

I get it, but I also don't. He doesn't fully commit to it so there is mitigation there however it's shoulder to the head still.
You could argue his own team mate got in the way of him making a tackle with arms but he had a heap of time to adjust and still hit him in the head.
It's sinbin roulette these days. Other teams have been dudded worse than we have. Olakau'atu getting binned for a good tackle last night was probably worse.

You're nowhere near as old as me but I'll guarantee I'm much better looking. Clooney style. You'd have a head like a dropped pie.

Last night, 3 players in a Tigers game were sin binned and none of them were Tigers players, so anything could happen.
(except justice for NZ it seems)

Yeah I get ya, the idea is that if you commit hard and hit them in the head you're gone because you've made no attempt to mitigate it. What they're saying is if you do attempt to mitigate it despite it going wrong it's on report.

If Barnett doesn't tip that, it's Burton's try !

Mitigation is through pulling back slightly on contact, he's not rushing up and leading with the shoulder. I fully appreciate how it's confusing and wouldn't be upset if it was a sin bin however I understand why it wasn't.
That being said probably should have been though.

Burton looks set for 60, unless he cracks the line and goes 80+

What do you mean pulled back? He shouldered him straight in the head with no arms leaving him concussed.

Watch his movement again, he almost absorbs the hit. Albeit he's collected him flush.
For consistency sake though he should have gone to the bin.

It's crazy that a guy with a body as big as Shughes never ever bends the line

Knights guy in chat earlier winding up that he's never seen fan base turn on player like Warriors fans and SJ. I looked up and if we lose this it's 0-9 when SJ plays since the Manly 22-22

Mahoney is a shell of his former self, never having a dart anymore and some of his tackle attempts are awful. Shoulder probably still bothering him should've binned him not Fainu for sure.

Picking Barnett over AFB for $150k more is up there with trading in Plath for two 30s and out before his big scores. They've been bad errors.

He's too tired to bend the line playing so many minutes each week.
He's getting the big boy minutes today though.
