Assuming A. Fifita plays all 3 origin games, backs up and continues to average 60 points. He will play 17 matches and score roughly 1020 points for the rest of the season for you.
Meanwhile J. de Belin not playing origin, averaging 50 points will play 18 games for a score of 900 points.

Now I know J. de Belin is averaging above that, but A. Fifita has a higher ceiling and can bust out much larger scores so I assume there will be 10 point average over the season. So is 120 points worth $70k? For me I would take the points. However if J. de Belin can match A. Fifita then there is a reward pay off. But when it comes down to it A. Fifita is the better and more established gun, and the jump isn't that large.

Have to admit I did have to google the gherkin juice thing to check that it wasn't just Freddy being a tosser.

So my 2 trades last night were:
    B. Lawrence out - D. Saifiti in
    Taupau out - JDB in

    I'm not regretting the Taupau trade as with a b/e of 76 he'll still lose 20-30k & JDB hopefully with score 50+ & with a b/e of 39 will gain 20-30k & also he's bye friendly & a more consistent scorer.
I'm also happy with the D. Saifiti cash grab as I can bring in Mannering next week or maybe a round 12 bye friendly player. Also I own Jacob as well & just read wackos & with J. Smith out either brother will be starting so it takes care of my 4th reserve.

Taupau is a keeper, why would you trade out a keeper? Didn't you see what happened to Merrin owners?

Taupau is only going to "Lose" 20-30K if you sell him. Im more than happy with his 47 points all things considered.

They wouldn't really be involved in player movement/recruitment though would they?
Gould from my understand was very involved in who was coming and going in the club.
Had every opportunity to exploit his role as a commentator either talking-up or talking down players to inflate or reduce price perceptions.

I can't see a board member really having much to do with that kind of thing whereas Gould's role looked like clear conflict of interest.

    Anyway, just my 2c.

Very hard to get a gauge on what WL looks like in real life.  But a combination of years of talking to the bloke on here and FB and due to recent trade decisions, we here at Fanatics can exclusively reveal a composite picture
