Maybe no teams to miss Magic Round - Penriff have the BYE but play Wigan in challenge cup that weekend. Nathan Cleary's idea. Right people showing support. Nothing the lad can't do.

Mate can we please have the 2025 ladder prediction thread up. I’m ready with mine I’ll place it here for now…. Obviously will edit over off season with more player movement. I’m being lazy sick in bed with chest infection and it’s quiet in here currently so I’ll just do a copy and paste job……Camo123 wrote:

More rumours around Ben Hunt could be gone shortly before Christmas. Dragons are wanting to go after Adam Douiehi.robelgordo wrote:Maybe no teams to miss Magic Round - Penriff have the BYE but play Wigan in challenge cup that weekend. Nathan Cleary's idea. Really looking at the comp apart from Storm and Penrith probs being somewhere inside the top 4 the comp is wide open for anyone if they’re good enough to get up there.

I’ve heard Pezet is likely staying in Melbourne mate he’s happy there for now.
Happy being backup half and probably behind Wishart now? Easy to say you will stay and play reserve grade until someone offers you a big contract and a first grade spot

Souths losing a rep quality hooker replaced with the worst regular starter in the comp. Untested English half as the star man always goes well. Still lacking depth in the pack and backs.
Forget top 8, Souths will be lucky if they make the top 16

Seems pretty straight forward, doubt he will have a charge registered if guilty. Are you just beating it up because he plays for the Roosters ?

I'm watching the womens Pacific test Samoa Vs Tonga. What I'm about to say may be sexist, racist or both. Their shorts seem a lot tighter than the guys. Is it because they are big girls from the islands or is it intential from the legaue ? I know back in the 90's when they changed the material of jerseys they made them tighter fitting so you couldn't get "collared" but it just seems out of place with shorts. Bit like women's beach volleyball.

Yeah sweet mate a bit more info than I knew, but it seems like running over a dude which is what he has been charged for seems a stretch based on the circumstances, do him for not being unlicenced.

Just on the crash
Driving unlicensed = Bad & dumb (usually a result of clocking up too many demerits)
Positive drugs test = Bad & dumb but it's off season and depending on what it was could have been weeks ago. I'd wager a league wide round of testing this week would give a pretty high hit rate
Jacket to Daly M's = Bad taste & not much more (There actually needs to be more of this to wind the fox sports/Daily Tele/2GB crew up so much they spontaneously combust.
Actual spot the crash was is near my place & is a bit of a prick. You're turning down into a weird Bardon style little split street that snakes along the side of a ridge so it's pretty hard to see anyone coming out the other way until they actually hit the main road. It runs 30 degrees off the main road so 'veering onto the wrong side of the road' is sort of essential if you want to make the turn off. He was probably going a bit too fast and the Uber was probably going a bit too fast but the headline "Cars collide in bread and butter accident with no one seriously injured' probably doesn't read that well.
TLDR : Its all pretty dumb on his part but I doubt he gets sacked unless he was off his trolley at the time and wearing his Daly M jacket.

its a whole lot of "its a bad look" rolled into one.
valid license and no failure on drug test the story is entirely different. given they published 'unlicensed' and not 'suspended', maybe he's forgotten to pay renewal (easy to do, i've done it before). drug test can't tell us how long ago he used. he's also a silly footy player so having a bump or a cone and then driving wouldn't be surprising, but its not like getting behind the wheel after a carton. oh but drugs are bad etc.
agree, i don't think he'll get sacked
