i nearly rid myself of him after his first disappointment. I already have SJ. Don't need two roller coasters in my team. Get too many of those and I'll have a theme park.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
Oh fuck it. After pondering how I'm going to work in those 2nd row trades and manage my byes, I decided to finally take a look at how few players I have in that first big bye. I can't remember the exact number, but it was like 6 or something of my current numbers.... not pretty.
The problem I have is that there really doesn't seem like there is a lot of good options out there I can pick up without making some big changes to free up the cash...

Its rape and pillage before and after the bye rounds in order to survive.
Would any of you guys prefer it if the bye rounds were omitted from fantasy, and we were the ones who actually had byes from the game ??

I dont see what the problem is as everyone is in the same boat re byes. Its trades left that will decide who shoots up the rankings especially if more injuries hit to key players.

Oh no, I love the bye rounds, its such a challenge and its fun to see how everyone approaches it differently.
It's just I stress over it in the leadup and throughout

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
i've never done particularly well over byes but there's no way i would want them to be removed from overall scoring.
this is the first year i have saved more trades than alot of other people (usually ive burned through them) so i'm hoping i can make a bit of a run over bye period. haven't really put much thought into it as yet.

Oh right! The way I read it I thought he meant Ben Hunt had a weeks NRL suspension.Milchcow wrote:

Too sideways? I'm starting my trades now for byes. 526th overall, so want to try and maintain and improve on that. Plus I bet a bit of cash to upgrade my high mid rangers into guns after byes.
Thoughts?
Smith (C) / Parcell
Alvaro / S.Burgess
De Belin / Ma'u / Whitehead / Taumalolo
Johnson / Hastings / Lolohea
C.Lawrence / Aubusson / Holland
Barba / Munster / Tedesco
NPR's - B.Lawrence / Packer / Henry / Leuluai / Feeney / Gutherson / Mitchell
144k in the bank.

Looking extremely good mate. Fractionally light in the CTR position, but I'm sure your aware of that. But overall looks really good.

Thinking Jifiti>Bateman and Walker>Bunt
Was strongly considering Norman but the Eels salary cap situation has got me a bit nervous.

Im personally not really sold on Bateman.
Why did he get 31 minutes last week, but 11 minutes the week before?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
I'm looking at strengthening my team next week by bringing in Mannering & maybe Graham.
I might opt for Tolman as he is at bottom dollar and use the cash for other upgrades.
I'm just a bit hesitant on Tolman, I know his scores have been affected by concussion and injury.
I'll see if he will pump out a descent score on the weekend and let that be the decider.

Any decent 2RF/FRF trade down options? I can see Bateman's there possibly until Soliola returns rd 12 although he's not getting minutes at the moment. Any one else to look at?

Decent. It's spelt decent.
I don't know why but this has been really bugging me for a week or so now.
Descent = going down
