    Parcell ---> Friend

    or

    Taylor ---> Milford

    Leaning (quite a lean) towards Friend. Both players will sky-rocket in value but the reason I might go Milf instead is that the gap between the two players will widen more in Taylor/Milf than it would with Parcell/Friend ? Would that be a correct assumption?

    Friend will be at his peak price in the next week or two so you'll be buying him at a premium price. If he keeps pumping out big score like the last few weeks then that doesn't matter. I'm wondering though when Pierce returns in a couple of weeks whether that will affect his scoring potential.

    I'm of the belief his scores will drop. More so with Cordner and JWH to return as well.

    I focussed way too much on the byes last season. I was holding onto guys for way too long, knowing they were playing a bye round in a few weeks and it didn't really help me at all. This season I'm just playing it by ear and having some loose awareness of the bye rounds.

    The roosters might look at lot different in a couple of weeks time. As long as Mitchell keeps getting involved and more confident, I don't really care!

    With Bye rounds in mind are there very many expected changes to last years Origin squads? Just trying to get my head around the players who will miss games due to Origin, above and beyond the scheduled team byes.

    I get the feeling this is the last year for the Queensland greats like Parker. I have half been expecting him to retire from Origin before the series.

    For QLD it'll be Oates and Feldt on the wings with Gagai shifting to the centres because of Chamebrs injury. As for NSW well Daley is pretty set on keeping much the same squad he had last year. No B-Moz so he'll probably play Teddy on the wing, I think Josh Reynolds will probably partner Hodkinson and that's only because it'd be ridiculous even for Daley to pick Pearce after 3 games back. Other than that you're looking at the same squad that lost Game III last year to run out for Origin I this year.

    Garvey - Smith/Friend
    Carter - 2ND Row Gun (Or FRF by moving Surgess)
    Walker - Milf/Johnson/Radradra (For a risk)

    Quick glance, thats what I'd be doing. You have lots of cash to use, might as well use it.

    Thanks mate, appreciate it!

    Does anyone have any good ideas for cash-out options in the FR or SR that are likely to double up as productive point scorers over the Origin period, and then pretty much shelve thereafter?

    I'm considering Ofahengaue, Kaufusi, and/or Asiata. Thoughts? Any others that I should be looking at?

    My 2nd trade has 2 options. Please advise:
    (a) J. Saifiti out - Bateman in or
    (b) J, Saifiti out - Kennar in (via Aubs)

    Thanks.

    Id hold the macca trade until after the first bye round. He might play 80 with the origin lads out. Wait to see how friend goes with a full strength roosters pack. His price will come back down to earth by round 12

    If you were to hypothetically pick up either Ryan James or Ben Hunt this round, who would it be?

    Struggling to think of who to bring in this week. Can grab pretty much anyone with all these cows ripening at the same time, but its a matter of which ones to pluck.

    At the moment I have:

    HOK: Peats, Parcell
    FRF: Graham, Surgess, McGuire, BLaw
    2RF: De Belin, Fensom, Elliot, Taupau, Turner, Saifiti
    HLF: Johnson, Hastings, Taylor, Feeney
    CTR: CLaw, Holland, PatMat, Avua'a
    WFB: Mansour, Barba, Mitchell

    130k in bank

    Possible trade ideas:
    Upgrade 2RF
    J. Saifiti --> Mannering
    Turner --> Alvaro via Surgess
    Turner --> Lolohea va CLaw

    Upgrading HLF:
    Taylor --> Milford/Hunt
    PatMat --> WFB nuffie with switches

    OR

    Taylor --> Norman/Mbye/Arey
    Turner --> Lolohea

    Who should I be making my biggest priority out of Turner, Jaifiti, Taylor, PatMat to upgrade?
