Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
If I was to make a single trade this week. Would it be better to go Saifiti to a cheap player such as Blake and bank the cash, or straight swap to someone like Lolohea who has the potential to be a keeper in the centres for the same amount of money?

1 vote for Lolohea
All depends on your situation regarding trades left, cash in the bank etc.

Will leave me with Lolohea and Holland as my centres with Aubbs moving up to second row

Tough choice really. Aubbs has been good lately. Wait a week on Lolohea maybe. Worst case scenario J Saifiti plays and loses 5K or whatever/gets rested.
Personally I think Lolohea should be good for at least 40 points, but if Aubbs is scoring around that, and Saifiti 30 minimum, not really worth the trade this week.

I can't say Nikorima unless I sing it in the style of "Hey Macarena" - 90s hit from those 2 dodgy old Spanish blokes.

Yeah that's a fair call finch. Maybe it's a no trade week, sounds weird lolFinch wrote:Tough choice really. Aubbs has been good lately. Wait a week on Lolohea maybe. Worst case scenario J Saifiti plays and loses 5K or whatever/gets rested.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
Another Lolohea question...
I won't have the cash to upgrade Ashley Taylor when he needs replacing, so he'll need to be downgraded. With a lack of decent downgrade options, I was considering Lolohea.
I know Taylor hasn't peaked in price yet, but am I better off to just trade Taylor out this week for Lolohea, being that Lolohea will likely increase in price quicker than Taylor will over the next few weeks?
I know it's not ideal to have Lolohea in my halves but I would hope it would only be for a few weeks.

Weird, I've been listening to 90's playlists on Spotify the last few days. Heard this pop up a couple of times!
Its a classic

Taylor might not be playing this week as he spent some time in hospital. Its all rumours at this stage though. if he doesn't play, then Cullen should get a spot in the team, so you could do Taylor-Cullen and upgrade other areas of your team. All depends on the depth in your halves though, as you dont really want Cullen in your 17. Titans play tomorrow night so you will know what to do before the Warriors game anyway.

Who is Kennar in for again and what's the job security like?

Chambers/Scott. Good for at least the next 2-3 weeks when Scott comes back from injury.

He's in for Chambers who's out for a while (2-3 months I think). Scott is a couple of weeks away from returning but he's a pencil thin 18 year old & they may just play him in the lower grades or he could replace Hampton or Kennar. I'm bringing in Kennar for J. Saifiti via Aubs & he'll be in my npr's as I don't trust the likes of Auva'a, Bateman, Felisi, Blake, Ese'ese, Kaufusi, Asiata or A. Elliot. The only thing with Kennar is bad byes & I'd rather not have him but he seems more nailed than any other cheap option.

Scott could also replace Hampton or play lower grades.

Thanks, good points. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Bro, you know you're just going to keep trading until it's round 14 and you have 6 left so do your worst

There's no guarantee Curtis Scott goes straight into the lineup when fit.
Cheyse Blair is hanging around as well, he might get a spot at some point.
I think Kennar has reasonable job security though.

It sounds like your trying hard to find a downgrade for a cow that hasn't peaked yet. Hold the trade and worst case it costs you an extra 10k next week.zorasdomain wrote:Another Lolohea question...
