Wise words milchcow. I'll keep that in mind to stop my bad trades haha. I think that was my biggest problem with my trades since round 1. Got a bit greedy.
And thanks to everyone so far for the suggestions.

I need to get in smith/friend cos parcells not looking likely to play this week. Can't have another week of auto emergency instead of a hooker.

But that delays my mannering trade in for another week since I'd have no cash left.

I'm not sold on lolohea tbh but it sucks when you miss out on an opportunity. I also need to look at saving trades (22 left) asap but I need to get cash out of my dead bench players.

So many buts haha. Argh fantasy is so frustrating but fun.

    De Belin, Mannering or Bromwich?

Also, best cash-out, all things considered?

I'm not trading anyone in for a low BE but I am tossing up whether to toss someone out that still has money to make in order to get a gun or conserve 2 trades for the week

Well, I wasn't trying to cover your situation with my above post.
More the odd post where someone would say, Player X has a BE of -10, should I trade him in. (where my answer is, not unless you were looking at trading him in anyway)

For Aubusson, personally I think he is a hold for now. Even if Cordner returns soon, with Tauleiaho out I think he has a few weeks in the forwards of solid scores.

That said, if by selling him you can upgrade significantly elsewhere, and have a solid centre you can replace him with, then go for it.

Also, as well as looking at Aubbuson's price rises, you have to consider the price rises of your trade target.

No point keeping Aubbs just for $10-20k of price rises if Hunt rises $40k whlst you are doing it (and also scores more in the process)

personally, my team is so down on trades and littered with red dots, that I can't afford to trade out anyone actually playing first grade, even if their scores suck. But that shouldn't stop you from improving your team

Parcell's only worth a trade if you're upgrading to Cam or Friend imo. An injury to any one of Koro, Walker or DCE again basically guarantees Parcell will maintain his 80 mins. In the opening two games when Parcy only played the 2nd half, Manly looked a lot better with him on the field, if Koro affects his minutes going forward, I can't see them dropping Parcy to any less than 60.

Downgrading a HK is a bad idea to me. As the only spot with one back-up and a great scoring position, it's madness to run with only 1 HK.
    What about Peats?

So what's everyone's biggest regret so far this year?

I think mine was selling Aubbs for RTS. Obviously in hindsight a rookie move.

Not that I don't rate Peats, but feels too sideways going Parcell to Peats. There's the bye schedule thing, and Peats is one of the few Eels that I think is a genuine keeper, but I wouldn't be trading Parcell for him. Cam and Friend are in a league of their own imo and since I have Cam, even going Parcell to Friend seems like a luxury trade to me and my cash is better spent elsewhere.

Not sure if sarcasm. That isn't a regret, that is just unlucky. My biggest regret so far is not starting with Tedesco or starting with Ah Mau over potential combos including J. Graham. Oh and Taia, Sue weren't great either.

My regret was going a week too late to Parcell, could have earned 50k more and added 20 points. Plus buying Curtis Scott.

But I guess my biggest one was reading up on Milf, hearing that he was going to be a playmaker this year, and going Bunt instead.

Just remember people considering trading Aubo this week that Issac Liu is going to be suspended (minimum 1 week) so can see him scoring possibly like normal this game .
Could be some extra $$ too if he goes well and let's you deal with more pressing trades.
Worse case run him as a npr and even off the bench he won't lose money.

    Also, on Parcell Dead Horse

He only played 32 minutes in Rd. 1 for 29, and 50 minutes in Rd. 2 for another 29.

His presence in the first game against the Dogs was too little, too late, but Manly had better go forward with him.

Next up the Tigers, and Manly almost stole victory once Parcell entered the game, leveling up after being 16-0 down.

Since then he's played 80 (one 73 min) for 3 wins and a close loss against Souths.

His 287 points combining the first two games, would give him a 57.4 average so far. Missing 1, potentially 2 games, isn't enough to have me wanting to trade him anytime soon.

I did the same thing. As well as a bunch of other hopeless F-wits, as I had very little idea what I was doing.
I'm still trading out my pre-Round 1 mistakes.

Not starting with Tedesco and also going Woods over Graham annoy me,

Especially as I spent a lot of the pre-season with both of them in my side.

A lot of the other rubbish with my team is as much due to bad luck with injury as anything else.

Captaining Woods 1st three games. Didn't have Smith till Round 4.
