Lolohea you should pick in your centres not your halves.
Have you considered Kennar @ 172k or is he not feasible due to your finances

...started to question my trades again...

Note to self: Stick to the game plan!

This year I started with a strong CTR/WFB line-up because last year I spent to much time fixing that area. My Rd1 line-up was Teddy, Mansour, Gordon, Mitchell, Feeney, Maubs, Claw, Guth, Benry.

The idea was to have decent (@filthridden) scores from the likes of Mansour, Gordon, Maubs & Claw and replace and sell them later in the season with up and coming Keepers (Mitchell, Barba, Lolohea) and use the cash the strengthen other positions.

So I'm trading out Mansauce this week to free up some cash... he made 44k... so I can buy 2 keepers in the FRF and 2RF next week

Can anyone shed some light on Patrick Kaufusi and whether he's a reasonable cash out option? Even if he doesn't hold down his first-grade spot I assume he'd at least get to play through the origin period?
If he's a no-go, who is a better option?

Only thing with Asiata is will he be an AE nightmare after origin ? (like the start of the year)

How many minutes do we think Ese is going to get? He might be one of those 10 point players...

Wait and see... even so he might get decent (@filthridden) minutes in round 12, which will make it a worthwhile trade for me

in rnd 11 and rnd 17 last year, asiata a g'd42 mins for 42.5 pts

so basically both will play during byes but i think asiata will probably get the bigger mins of the two.

Thanks heaps for the info. I had heard Asiata mentioned as an option but looked at his average without knowing the context and was a bit put off.

He's in contention, along with JJ Felise and Bateman at the moment. They all play the same bye weeks which is handy, but makes them harder to split. I like JJ's DPP, but am probably leaning towards a cowboy due to their origin players. Does this sound like my best bet?

Thanks WL I will go back and have another look I'm just trying to figure out where To get the cash to fund proper guns in the forwards.

This is last i have heard/seen which was last week "With captain Aaron Woods already sidelined due to an ankle injury, Taylor has confirmed Samoan international forward Sauaso Sue will miss the match with concussion, while Jack Buchanan will also be unavailable for selection due to a foot injury suffered at training." Doesnt help much buts thats all i got

Cheers, i am second guessing the trade now so just reversed the lot lol. The trade isn't what i want for team so will probably hold off.
