Interesting that Grant only played 38 minutes when he's been playing about 60 previously. Anyone know why this happened as you would of thought with his experience he was needed out there to calm it down. I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Yeah he usually plays the first 30 minutes & then comes on in the 2nd half & plays the final 20 minutes but with Woods out he plays an extra 10 minutes. He did come off after 28 minutes but he did come on in the 2nd half for 10 minutes which is out of the ordinary. Maybe it was the pace of the game due to the Tigers having no possession in the 2nd half so the game didn't suit his style so Taylor wanted more mobile forwards out there.

Captain Fifita last week 30, this week Captain Tedesco 39. How I'm still just outside the Top 1000 I'll never know. Oh well lesson learnt never captain someone against the Raiders again

If you watch the tigers press conference, Taylor said that grant had a knee/hamstring complaint and couldn't play many minutes in the second half. He also said grant would be in doubt for next weeks game given the short turnaround.White Lightning wrote:Interesting that Grant only played 38 minutes when he's been playing about 60 previously. 354 from 7 which seems about average. Only used 2 forwards so far.
Gordon my only failure, Mbye was ordinary but 42 isn't that bad.

Damnit. I knew Gordon would stink it up. I had him in NPR all week because I knew he would stink it up, and I was going to play Parcell and Lawrence. Then I heard that Parcell was in doubt and realised I had no players in later games to sub in if he pulled out, so I reserved Gordon. And now I have massive regrets for not just taking the risk. Both Blaw and Parcell will bust out 50's now. This will be a classic case of when being too informed can bite you.

I did exactly the same thing.
