Im also second guessing keeping Gordon. 300k is a lot to have sitting in my NPRs every week.

@Bren. Up to 511th overall. Extremely stoked. I seem to be missing most of the injuries that the teams ahead of me seem to be getting.

Nice one lad! Great place to be in at the moment. Could definitely grab a top 100 spot come seasons end or even higher if you play it right. Very Happy

Thanks mate. I'm far exceeding my original expectations. I think I'm just under 100 points outside the top 100. I'm hoping for another quiet game from Fifita to drag me up the rankings again.

At the beginning of the season I think I said to you id love to get top 2k. I mean it's only round 8, but I just can't believe how well I'm doing. Saying that. It's a marathon, and only just reaching the 1/3 mark, so anything could happen. Who knows, one of the volleys may blow out, leading to me eating bitumen, but I hope not.

Good work mate... you cracked the 1000pts last week, 389 from 8 isnt bad...

Cheers, had James Roberts as well, disappointing to watch most of the attack go down the other wing as soon as Hunt went off. But yeah I am a bit behind where I'd like to be (try to aim for 50 each, would have me at 400 ) especially with 4 gun forwards already gone. Whitehead saved it a bit for me. Averages put me spot on 900, heres hoping.

    Anyone got updates on Parcell?
Ideally would like to know before today's game if he is in or out.

Parcell will be playing because I've got him as one of my reserves.

Hoping for this, because it's the last game I'll only be able to pick from Parcell and JSafiti or cop HHunts score of 7 as AE

I thought they said that it was some archaic term and rule. Johns and Fittler both seemed to think it was okay. I had no troubles with it either. You can't surrender like that, and its a hard game.

Im pretty sure its not the first time its happened this year either. I think the most important thing is consistency with penalties when it occurs in the future.

Alright can we get some yay/nay's going around Michael Gordon.

He has good bye coverage but what are we giving up by keeping him so long? I love Flash he was a major POD for me in 2014 and he has those great scores in him but the fact is his average scores don't make him a keeper and he's too expensive to be an NPR.

He's a nay for me. Have him for the first bye round and move him onto a gun afterwards.

I actually traded him after round 2 for Munster. I'm a nay. I'm also starting to feel the same about Ma'u, has gone back to scoring 40's, after a strong start to the year. Unfortunately like Gordon, I'm unable to see a suitable replacement with equivalent bye coverage. But as you say JBG, is bye coverage worth it if they're not scoring well?

Think of it this way. If you trade in a player who will score 15 more points than Flash in Round 9/10/11, your 45 points ahead. Yes, you lose a solid bye player, but your already 45pts ahead pre bye. Does that sound right?

If you have no other problems in your team and a clearly better replacement, then go for it. I have him in my 3 but he's probably staying til I can afford Teddy. And after I've dealt with Hymel and Reynolds, Aubs, getting Mannering in etc etc...
