Anyone care to give a newbie any other suggestions on what I should do this week with this team;

Fifita, Surgess (Blaw, Evans)
Lowe, Fensom, Carty (Bhana, Benry, Leuluai)
SJ, Hastings (Taylor, Feeny)
Claw, Holland (Fergo, Lolohea)
Barba, Mitchell, Mansour (Gordon, Gutherson)

26 trades and 148k in the bank.

Finding it tough to try and let go of Fergo, Gordon and Mansour for some reason.

Hoping Bhana gets another run in the starting side with Mataora out for a week.

Thinking Graham as he should be better over the Origin period if Fifita is selected for SoO.

I would be holding Ferguson until you can see whether Holland is worth keeping around, I had the same four backs but dumped Mansour for cash, but in you situation cash isn't needed right now so I wouldn't worry about that.)

Just sit on your trades this round I think.

So my options for trades really are

Jaifiti/Carter (Upgrade/downgrade)
HHunt (Keeper or cheapie?)
T-Turbo (Semi? Cheapie?
Taylor (upgrade to Hunt or someone?)
Hastings (to Brock Lamb if he starts?)

What are peoples thoughts?

Agree with Finchy. Parcell was obviously close last week. They have just regurgitated their last team list anyway.

Thanks Random. I was thinking that since I'm pretty postive Parcell will play. Feel like I need BHunt though and Taylor out, but the only way to get him would be a downgrade. Thanks for the thoughts, appreciate it. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

So who's the best hooker to replace Macca?

I'm gonna exclude Friend (too expensive), and Farrah and Smith (Origin) so leaves me with:
Hodgson
Lichaa
Peats
Rein

Thoughts? I've gone with Hodgson at this stage (best average, not too expensive, and has a reasonable Bye schedule).

I'd go Hodgson. Would normally say Peats but his scores the last few weeks have been a concern. Not sure if it's just a confidence thing.

Yeah, it's interesting. Having Peats Rd 1 I never expected him to match that going forward. But you'd expect a 50 average regardless. Figure everyone will give him a couple of more weeks to prove himself before byes.

hodgson is a beast. was on 51 after 55 mins last week. would have been a huge score but ricky gave him an early shower at that point. i was mad. but i doubt raiders are in that position too often. unfortunately it seems like ricky will continue to stick with carrying baptiste just for utility value/injury cover/etc.

With that article, I think Holland we be able to stay in most teams, I think he'll be playing a lot more games than not over the rest of the season.
