An upgraded Gordon will easily surpass whatever tripe he dishes up on those bye weekends, not to mention all the games you have to hold Gordon for to even get those 2nd and/or 3rd bye round scores.
He's also currently injured, Gutherson's preferred position is FB and Gordon has played plenty of wing in his time.

you're right, might use that 2nd trade after all, I'll reverse that & bring in De Gois & Mannah instead, can never have enough Eels in my squad, they play all 3 big byes after all.
Didn't Mannah go off injured again with the same problem that caused him to be off all those weeks?

Pretty sure he's being sarcastic since none of the Eels are particularly great. In my opinion, other hookers will outscore Peats at the end of the day, and other halves over Norman. I stupidly picked up Ma'u and he's about the only other one people are throwing around? I should have looked at my H2H bye schedule closer and realised that Eels players are the absolute worst options for me anyway.

So is there a source for Surgess injury? Or just speculation after initial scans?
After checking, I might have Surgess and Mannering sitting on pine . Meaning I would be playing Bhana and BLaw as my 3rd and 4th res

Ah lucky me. Bought Teddy at premium price for one 61 score and below 40 for all the others. Was just too envious of everyone raking in those huge scores I had to have him.
I'd say he's a sell right? Even with the rep round making for potentially only 3 weeks out I'm of the understanding that this is one type of injury you don't want to run the risk of re-injuring by bringing them back early.

Latest updated I could find was that is was a high ankle sprain, and should be round 12 at the earliest. Being Surgess I think he'll be back round 11 at the latest (I hope!).
My 17 in two weeks is looking rather sad:
Cam Smith (Parcell)
Bromwich BLaw (Mataora)
JDB Fensom Whitehead (Carty Taupau)
Milford Hastings
CLaw Holland
Mitchell Barba Gutherson
Teddy, HHunt, Surgess, Taylor all sitting on my bench, probably get myself some Roast Lamb for Hunt and leave it at that, suffer for a few weeks and get r12 out of the way.

According to Robbie Farah's brother they're looking after Surgess and they're pretty confident he'll be right to go for the Parramatta game in Round 10.

No trades until rd 12. Holding Mansour until then, I have enough cash saved in BLaw, Hastings, Parcell and my 150k in the bank that I can make big upgrades in rd 12/15. Only 20 trades left as well, if I do 3 each over the byes that only gives me 11 for the run home. Cutting it real fine at the moment.

Surgess won't want to miss any games. I'd be surprised if he was out unless it was a realy bad injury.
And surely both Mansour and Gordon have to go right? Means I can't upgrade a half or forward for another week. Damn backs.

Was kinda annoyed I ended up starting the year with Fergo, Mann, Barba, Feeney and Mitchell as my WFBs. Hasn't turned out to bad so far.

I started with Kata last year when he was basement price. Think he peaked at about 330k and I traded him out at ~310 before he dropped even further. Was hitting a lot of 20s, which is pretty typical for a centre when they aren't scoring tries, and it looks like he's back to that kind of form.
Off the top of my head, the best fantasy centres last year were Soliola (SR), JBird (HLF), Dugan (FB) and Aitken as the top true centre.. that's why Aitken's name is being thrown around a lot now that he's down to 320k.
Would wait and see on Lawrence after rep round and see if ET affects him at all. I stupidly traded CLaw for RTS and then Lolohea, so you bet I'm hoping that he crashes back to earth.
Thanks so much, Sir Winfield. I really appreciate the info.

Lovett will finally get ditched from first grade, I'd have thought. CLaw, Sironen, Elijah back row with Halatau taking one of their minutes (hard to say which) and Sue moving into the front row rotation.Onthebeatpete wrote:Don't know if this has been posted yet..

I doubt he loses his spot, but will probably lose minutes.

I think CLaw will keep his SR spot, unlikely to have minutes taken too despite my selfish reasons for hoping that he does.
Aloiai, Chee-Kam, JJ Felise should all make way for Taylor, Grant and Woods in the coming weeks. I'm expecting Elijah to take minutes from Sirro and Lovett predominantly. Halatau and Sue occupying lock I guess.
