If they open up that Southern end soon I'll believe it.

They would have sold a shitload prior to the announcement as it's against the Warriors. You would think maybe 10000 at least prior to Tuesday. So if they sold another 11000 in an hour then that SOuthern end would be open. It still looks closed according to Premier and there are a shitload of tickets still everyone else. CBUS is reportedly 25000 so something doesn't add up.

In seriousness though, I think most people would agree with their roster, the Titans are probably as likely to have cap space as anyone.

Yep, I agree - but since the DCE stink they signed Hurrell, Peats, Roberts and prob some others - which would pretty much soak up DCE's money. Not to mention Taylor on 150k or something, not sure how long he signed for, 2 years from memory. He will be looking at about a 600k upgrade midway though next season.

I bet they are wishing they let greg bird go now...
They will have to shed a shit load of blokes like Zillman, Mead, Don, one of their three halves, prob hoffman too. Friend will be gone so there is a few 00's.

Fuck the titans are going to be good to watch in the very near future! Im excited to see Taylor/Elgey/Hayne combine.

Southern Stand is now open.  I hope they sell it out.  Wonderful ground to watch footy that looks like shit with poor crowds.

Well, as you'd expect for his first game back in two years, some highlights and some rustiness. Not convinced Henry used him correctly, but no doubt normal transmission will resume and Hayne will need to accept sole responsibility for the loss.

He played well. If Nene catches that ball and scores its a totally different game. Plus that forward pass that was called from Hurrell. That could have easily been let go. If he gets the intercept as well...

He looked fucking sharp tho. I reckon his best position might be 6 now. That explosiveness off the line in defence was great, he looks to have picked up a bit of pace off the mark. Looking forward to see how it develops.

Happy he isnt playing for the Roosters or Broncos too.

He touched a ref. He has to spend a week on the sidelines.

Considering that rule is pretty hit or miss, will be interesting to see what happens with it. Because he is the biggest drawcard in the game it wouldnt surprise me if he got off, just like Cam Smith/JT did.

The NRL will have done so much work to get Hayne back in the game. He is now back, it would be fucking hilarious if the NRL now suspends him for a week for such a simple bizzare rule that shouldnt be there.

They have to give him a week. I dont care who it is and whether they are a big name superstar or not. Consistency has to be shown. Frizell touched the ref and got a week, Hayne touched the ref in a very similar fashion so he also deserves a week. If he doesnt get a week it will be absolute BS.

Yep. Touch a ref and spend a week on the sidelines no matter the player or team. Simple.

Have they come out with who it actually was though ? Last I saw they were only showing the angle that went to air and all you see is a hand. If they were serious the MRC would have cited someone by now based on other angles. They have a perfect opportunity to show there is one rule for everyone and it isn't amateur hour.

Didn't see it but if it was the same as Friz he won't get a week as he has no carryover points
