It shows 1 very important thing-if you manage to pick the "right" bye friendly players then your rank in between the 3 major bye rounds doesn't have to suffer. Every round in that 8 week period I improved my rank. Maybe I just jagged it, but I did spend a ridiculous amount of time researching and running the bye predictor.
Some tough calls, none moreso then Soliolia out for CLaw in Round 14 when Soliolia was killing it. Soli was going to miss 2 of his next 4 or something in byes and CLaw had already had his first bye and Tigers had 5 straight before their next bye (from memory). Soli broke his arm in Round 19 I think (straight after the byes had finished).

With the news Hastings is out I might bring Radradra in for him. Other trade being Taupau > Harris.
Smith Parcell
Surgess JTurbo Tolman (Blake)
Harris Mannering Whitehead Cartwright (Leuluai Henry)
Milford Johnson Barba (Feeney)
Holland Auvaa (Gutherson Kennar)
Munster Mitchell Radradra (Mansour Scott)
Could also go Hastings to any half other than Hunt.
Next week Mansour > ET via Harris (hopefully)
Thoughts?

Dunno what to make of this Hastings rumour. I was planning on leaving him out if Fensom was fit and likely upgrading him to Hunt next week anyway.
Kinda spoiled for choice for a replacement on Sunday (just not very good ones). Ferg's the likely one, but Kennar and CScott also options if they don't play for the Falcons.

My gut instinct said Tohu would average around 50 or so. I didnt bring him in after people kept saying to trust your gut. What now?Finch wrote:

It was hilarious at the time copping it. I revealed it late on a Friday or Saturday night and we were all pickled so no-one held back on their opinion of the trade! At the end of the day I had nothing to lose rank wise so that did make it easier to be so bold.

Might bring in SJ/Milf for Hastings, Semi for Barba and Mannering for Cartwright over the next round or 2.
That's one kick arse team mate. Shot.

I'm going to captain Surgess. I've got a good feeling he bags a meat pie tonight.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 33
I'm confused. Please help...
Smith Garvey
Graham Fifita BLaw Eseese
Gillett Parker Surgess Whitehead Fensom JSaifiti
Hunt Norman Lamb Hastings
Aitken Leilua Holland Auva
Mitchell Barba Gordon Gutherson Eden
Thoughts?
1.Tempted to trade Parker & Garvey to Friend
2.Hasting out means I could go him& Saifiti to Milford & Bateman (potential round 15 nightmare)
3. Blaw & Saifiti could become Mannering/Tolman/Mooper

I could go Hastings/Parcell -> Mattison/Friend but I feel that Parcell can close the grab on Friends $$$.
I've already talked myself out of it.
I hope Hastings stay out so I can just keep him there and trade in a keeper HLF after Origin.

Taupau out. Either for SST, Mannering, James or ET.
Any favourites?
Would be much more helpful if Taupau got suspended next week when the Origin teams get announced.
one vote for mannering

Think I'm gonna hold Hastings for now also and see how it pans out. Would mean I need to either run with Hastings and if he's dropped sub in Guth, or I could bench Hastings now for Lamb or Blaw. Thoughts? Actually might wait until the raiders match in case Fensom's a late inclusion and if not then make a call on either Blaw or Hastings/Guth
