Would you rather keep Hastings for the byes or trade him to an actual GUN keeper like Milf or SJ? I mean they both miss two games anyway.

That's my line of thinking too.

Is there a downside to having both Hunt and Milf in my team? Looking at a gun trade in for Hastings and I originally went with DCE but now I'm thinking he'll play the same amount of bye rounds as Milf and while he's a boom or bust player he'll probably be one of the elite HLF's at the end of the year anyway with his averages.
Difference between DCE and Milf is pretty much one extra player in Round 12, one less in Round 15 anyway.

But at this point it may be risky keeping him just for byes if he doesn't even play in them.

Quite a few quality halves available at or around Hastings' price.

I can see Thurston being rested a bit over origin, but maybe only a game or two like last year.

Hasting to Milf is so tempting, 39K difference. Scored 80 last time against the Cows.

Would love to get JT at his price, you just know he's going to finish the season over 500k like usual. The risk of him not backing up after 1-3 origin games and then the Rd 19 bye have me steering clear for now.

Picking him up for Lamb after the Rd. 19 bye and Mullen expected back somewhere around there sounds great for the run home though.

I'm bringing in JT after Origin for sure.

Well Hastings has fucked me. I've used all my trades so far. This was the first week that I only had to use 1 (JDB-> Mannering) but to have 17 decent players this week Hastings has to go. Feeling my season slipping away already just through trades. Crap.

if He's going to start I think I'll play him in my 17. But he's really only in my team for round 12. If he's under an injury cloud I might just flick him now.
