Well, I'm not too proud to admit when I'm wrong and today was one of those incredibly rare occasions. Well done Corey, that 2nd half 15 showed me.

Dunno if there's any truth to it, but I hear he even scored a try.

If Holland is dropped going forward Mbye becomes a borderline GUN half option again picking up goalkicking duties

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 33
Hey Archer, i think it was you who was asking about who im picking up for byes.
My thinking now is to not worry too much about Rd12 and focus on guns that play all games through Rounds 13-17. So Warriors, Manly, Melbourne, Souths, GC. Good selection of guns in those teams except perhaps Souths and GC.
So looking at guys like Mannering, Thompson, DCE and/or ARey (if no origin), JTurbo, Harris, JBrom, Finucane perhaps. Try and get as many points as possible in those rounds and perhaps pick up a few guns for Rd18 closer to the time.
What are your thoughts? Anyone can weigh in

Assume he's an Oz citizen like Semi then??Archer wrote:

Why won't Semi by play for N.S.W.?

Ok so obligatory drunk ass phone chat with my brother after a close win, done. My tv hasn't come as close to getting a bottle thrown through it since our round two shit handling performance against the eels. Happy the boys turned it around though and put in a gutsy effort.
In other news got cold feet on the milf trade and brought in DCE instead and have Bunt already.....
Everything's come up Milhouse

Hey Liverpool I agree on getting those players and not worrying too much about round 18 because by then you want to be finalising your team and a lot of the players playing 18 miss 19. And a lot of them are premium guns. Already have DCE (very recently) JTurbo, JBrom, Surgess, Munster, and want to get Manners and Harris soon if possible.

Milf down to 19 in the updates. Picture perfect timing to bring him in this week for his lowest score of the year but here's hoping for a big effort against the Tigers next week and hopefully a better grip on the football.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 33
In regards to the City vs Country comment that someone made, how plausible would a North vs South QLD derby br? Pulling in players like Smith, Barba, Guerra, Slater for an all out QLD playoff would be awesome. Surely there are enough players to sport two teams?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 33
Some quick research for the idea and I came up with two possible teams (correct me if Im wrong however). Criteria I did similar to City vs Country where its the metropolitan area vs the rest of QLD, using junior clubs and birthplace so central QLDers like Barba and Mann head north. People like McCullough from Dalby stay South which I think makes sense
North:
Barba
Oates
Gagai
O'Neill
Holmes
Morgan
Thurston
Scott
Segeyaro
Myles
Cooper
Thaiday
Guerra
Bolton
Lillyman
Lowe
Sims
South:
Boyd
Rankin
Inglis
Munster
Chambers
Milford
Cronk
Lawrence
Smith
McGuire
Papalii
Gillett
Parker
B. Hunt
J. Friend
Hannant
Shillington
This obviously has some of my personal preference for players but even as a rough draft it could be an awesome gme. This is also for players who aren't injured or playing reserve grade as of this week otherwise Slater would slot in for Barba.
This is what happens when Im on night shift.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 33
Well, the Hastings to Milf trade seemed to be me putting a curse on a player yet again. Seems like how everything is going for me this year. Oh well, he's still a keeper and I'm sure will bounce back next week.
Ethan Lowe with a nice 53 but was surprising.
Getting over it this year though.
