Yeah, unlucky mate. I was gonna do the same trade but Milf didn't really work for me in terms of the bye schedule so I bailed on it.

To be honest the only trade that makes sense for me is Matterson (or at least that's the only one I can think of so far), but Im unsure how secure his job is so gonna hold off and take the 20-30k hit on Matterson's price.

Anyone else still considering options for Hastings?

Here's hoping. I actually had a laugh with one of my work mates and I said, "let's see if I can make Milf shit himself," as a joke, and he did worse than I ever would have expected. Obviously should of went Hunt, but he's a keeper to the end, I hope?

Lamb.

These are my Hastings options:
(a) hold
(b) to DCE
(c) to Matterson
(d) to Leilua/Croker
(e) to Harris
(f) to B. Thompson/Mannering
(g) to A. Fifita

Leilua is the only round 12 option so might go him but I'm thinking the weather will probably be bad so I can't see him getting a monster score. Matterson is appealing cause it leaves me with 344k. I'm also favouring holding to see how this plays out.

Lamb just over JFH. The late mail on the Panthers team is Wallace to hooker, Sege to bench, Cartwright to half, JFH to 2fr. If this plays out & JFH starts he'd be tempting.

What happens if Matterson is only in for a week, then Hastings is back?

Hook really doesn't like Seggy at all it seems, especially to start Wallace over him. Wallace has been solid at hooker though I guess.

Yeah, but you would have traded Milf in as one of your keeper half. But trading Hastings -> Matterson for him to play a week or 2 then having to trade again seems like a waste to me.

Very good point & this could very well happen. What I have been reading about Hastings hasn't been to encouraging though. Apparently he's arrogant, is disliked by most of his team mates & the club has been shopping him around for the last month so it seems he's on the outer. This is just talk/rumour though & who really knows. The thing is Pearce will still be the dominant half & will dictating most of the plays so I can't really see Matterson getting a big score v the mighty Bulldogs (maybe 30 odd) so I can't see his price skyrocketing. It may be worth sitting on Hastings for a week.

Yeah I was just joking, yeah, Milford is locked in regardless of him letting me down. The only way I'd do the Matterson trade is if Hastings was my third half, even then as you say, might be two trades potentially wasted.

The rumour is the A-Rey & Maloney will be the halves & Pearce won't play. However A-Rey didn't have such a good game on Thursday imo so you never know. If Pearce has a blinder on Sunday then he could force his way in.

I dont think its stupid. But just keep in mind if for some reason the Broncos get belted by someone, both of them will 'probably' get poor scores.

Pearce may not play Game I, but could play II or III.
