    Why can't the Eels play earlier in the round. Perfect set up for a Semi VC loophole but not going to risk it with Eels being final game. Think I will just go ET VC and Graham as Captain

    Hunt (vc)
    Graham (c)

    Trades:

    Hastings ---> Hunt
    Carter ---> ET

    Bringing in two keepers that just happen to work for this week's bye round.
    One more trade for the week so that depends on TLT.

    I thought the captains lockout had removed the loophole. Admittedly haven't tried to click or change captaincies all season remarkably

    The old loophole is dead. Long live the new loophole.

    You can still trade your captain out, but if you do so he won't be part of your 17 anymore. So the only way his score will count is if he is your AE.

    So the new loophole is only really any good if you have 17 or less players.  (or if you have 18+ solid players with no shitty potential AEs lying around)

    But in bye rounds like this it is a very low risk play.

    Put VC on someone playing in the first couple games, and C on someone playing later. if VC goes big, sub your captain out. If not then you get your original captaincy choice anyway.

    can you please confirm my understanding - in all the years of fantasy i've never actually tried it.

    so say,  rnd 12, i start the round hodgson (C), cam smith is my other hooker (obvs not playing), with ben hunt (VC). hunt scores 95 on friday night. i simply swap hodgson to the bench moving smith into starting. the (C) stays where it is then on smith? then i get hodgsons score as AE because i have no other bench players. correct? Very Happy

    Sound. Great to hear captain can still be subbed.

    sounds like jai arrow will start at lock for the broncos. i talked him up when he debuted a couple weeks ago. (corey parker 2.0) iif you want a cash out for rnd 12 (who may not play much else at all afterwards) he will go good for points on friday.

    Has anyone actually tried last year's loophole this year? Always a worry that they've closed this one up too if not.

    Re lamb injury.

    Fox injury page lists him as returning round 12 ?

    http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/nrl-casualty-ward-round-11-corey-oates-needs-medical-clearance-to-play-state-of-origin/news-story/2abb08f251575a1521e8eb8c7cb2b9db

    Need him to make scrape through round 12 with 10 playing Embarassed

    The C would stay on Hodgson, but he'd be out of your 17.

    His score would count as AE though.

    One thing to be careful of. If your other hooker was McCullough, you wouldn't be able to swap Hodgson out because McCullough around be locked in place, having already played. This probably isn't an issue for anyone this round but something to be aware of.
