Glad I hung onto Evans. I thought SOO time might pay off, but lock is a bonus. Looks the type to score well there, but I don't expect him to get any more than 60 mins. Could be a 50 point player there though.

Was tempted to bring the shitto back in, but I think I'll pass. Should go well but a lot of his points were when he was going hell for leather off the bench knowing he had a short stint. Might be a bit more measured in the starting role, but yeah, if I kept him I'd be happy now.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 38
Brendan Elliott off to the Knights immediately.
$207k and I imagine he'll be a certain starter every game.
Option instead of Hurrell though a little pricier?
I suppose the idea is cash outs and the Knights have two byes to go so the timing's not quite right but could be worth keeping an eye on...
Hurrell a potential keeper but also potentially plays four games of the rest of the season here and there. :-/

My team for the week
Smith (c) (Friend)
Graham, Surgess (vc)
Parker, Whitehead, Harris (ET)
Hunt, Taylor (Cleary)
Aitken, Holland
Munster, Barba, Semi (Gutherson)
Best case scenario: If Mitchell and Cullen play then I can loophole big Sammy B.
Worst case scenario: Soward comes back in for Cleary and I'm left with 16.

Great team mate with no weaknesses at all & plenty of depth overall. I like the fact you still have A. Taylor as every game he gets better & better. I actually regret selling him & I bet a lot of others do as well.

Thanks, mate. I don't think I'll ever be 100% happy with any of my fantasy teams but I'm OK with this one at the moment.

12 trades left so have to treat him as a keeper at this stage.
Contemplating bringing in another prop for him via DPP as I don't have any depth in the FRF stocks but no hurry at this stage. Think I have to cover injuries/suspensions as they happen now rather than prepare in advance.

I certainly regret selling him. Especially because I traded him for K.Niko. Probably my only glaring mistake of the year, and likely carrying Niko as an ae to the end of the year now because his measley 70k-80 isn't worth the trade to me. No wonder Kodi is leaving for Melbourne, after injuries allow him to discover that he is actually the 4th string starting hooker at Broncos!

Yeah I've been holding him. Main reason was because he comes back just in time for the big bye round and Manly had a bye while he was out so I didn't lose too much by not having him around. That being said injuries meant I was down to 16 last round so I guess he cost my 50 points or so, but I wasn't to know that back when he got suspended.
The big problem is that his average is was down when DCE isn't there (another problem that wasn't really an issue when he got suspended).
If he can average 50 I'll be happy. Hopefully the time off has rested him and Manly realise they need to use him more in attack other than as a decoy runner!

All I know is that if I am going to get rid of him it probably should be this week or next.
I don't think he is a keeper so I'm 99% on getting rid of him and my current trade has him out for Aitken this week (who's BE is low and I suspect will only get more expensive from here).
The alternatives that I can see in terms of upgrades (and I already have Croker) are Dugan, and BJ. The later is a bit pricy and the former has injury issues. The only other guy on the table is Tui for me.
I'm not sure thou cause I'm so far down the standings that I should probably take a risk or two, but that being said I'm trying to learn the game this season so figure I should probably go the right move which I think is Aitken.

JDB taking part in full contact session. Hope he is a late inclusion for those of us who own him.

When you accidentally click on Taumalolo and select match stats then look at the scores thinking they are Lolohea's scores. Took a few seconds for it to click and double check the name, I was thinking "Damn! Definitely trading him into my squad this week"

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 38
yeah this is my problem. i already have aitken, dont really want to buy croker(rather spend money on say SST), trade-raged tui earlier, but dont want to have to play someone like gutheson or cscott (when back) in centres. so maybe he is a hold (for me at least)Rippin and Tearin wrote:

What is everyone's thoughts on Bateman/tapine/fensome/soli/papa game time this week.
Was planning on holding Bateman a few more weeks, but of his minutes drop and he is only playing 45minuts. He will start losing cash.
Initial thiughts are sit on him for one more week, sell him and Pauli (who somehow has survived in my team from round 1, one of 7 originals in my initial 25) as they are no good in Rd 15. Will bring in either surges or Harris along with a npr
