FP put a lot of work into NRL Fantasy and survivor. Ha. Classic Sportal Survivor. Ironic that we survived and Sportal didn't.

I played that survivor game, was a fun concept. From memory we played for immunity by making predictions to do with the upcoming rounds games ie how many players will score two or more tries and we would use the private messages to make alliances.

Exactly. Wasnt Tomkins talked up as the English version of Billy Slater? Sure he had a few good games in his time in the NRL but overall his paypacket nowhere near resembled his performance output.

I watch the Esl as much as i can, and i took Tompkins on his form as well, not.just the hype. He had me hooked.
By all means he was ok, solid. But looked half the player he did when in the esl. Will always give every player a shot, but would hate to see half a mill pumped into him by a desperate club, or any.
Others like Hodgson have worked out, and almost came over unnoticed.

Was planning on holding Bateman a few more weeks, but of his minutes drop and he is only playing 45minuts. He will start losing cash.

Initial thiughts are sit on him for one more week, sell him and Pauli (who somehow has survived in my team from round 1, one of 7 originals in my initial 25) as they are no good in Rd 15. Will bring in either surges or Harris along with a npr

Pauli will still make shed load of cash, or is that another Pauli ?
Maybe its why im so far down the ranks this year, but why would anyone hold or want Evans now ? After averaging 20 a week his last three round average is about 28 with a last start 37. And u have held him all season. I think my patients has literally gone. Same with parker and holland, why would u still have them now ? Parkers a must sell weeks ago. And holland has stalled weeks ago

He left Sportal well before its demise. Doesn't have time to be posting on forums these days with all the international travel.

I've sold Bateman this week. With the minutes he's been getting plus the risk it'll stay that way, he might not even reach his BE. So I've shipped him out.

So the last 2 nights we've talked about (apart from league)
    (1) crying & why we cry
    (2) favourite movies & some that make you cry
    (3) the old days down memory lane which can also invoke tears of joy

It seems that we've all reached an emotional nirvana & this thread will be better off for it.

Now if you had to pick between Cleary & Lolohea who would you pick.

He's one who i only brought in a few weeks ago and it isnt panning the way i planned it. Wish he would be given 65+ minutes, whats happening to the player who plays a full shift and is all the better player for it. Not just fantasy related, its becoming a coaches fave. Over coaching. #@%k sake.

Hey DK. No idea about huaaaa/blahhh (what an outstanding DT player he was before he retired). I assume he is still doing his medical degree/training, but he must be close to finishing by now, if he hasn't already.

How is married life treating you old mate? Does Mrs DK let you play ALL the NRL fantasy games or are you in semi-retirement? Wink

FWIW or not worth, Loho sailed weeks ago. Take cleary and spend the cash on a returning JT down stream.

    Cleary sounds like Teary.

I was really surprised at the low minutes Bateman got. I thought he would get at least 50. I think Canberra have gone from hardly any depth in the forwards to now having an over surplus. They are now resembling the Panthers.
