no, no chance. just like to gun for the best ranking I can (finished in top 20 in 2014, admittedly when coaches were scattered due to the NRLF/VSDT split).

If i focus on the eliminator then the choice comes down to Pangai vs Asiata. If I keep Pangai, I get an extra $28k for trading out Asiata. Plus I get an insurance player (assuming he is named) for rd 19. But I lose the chance to loophole captaincy in rd 19, as well as Asiata's 20 points this round (which doesn't really matter I guess).

There was 15 or 20k players still in VSDT in 2014 if I remember correctly though, so that is no mean feat mate; and the vast majority would have been in both comps. Down to 8000 or something last year and 6000 this year so Top 20 back then was impressive (I was 575 or something Embarassed ) .

So you will have 18 or more players in Round 19?

If Smith plays, keep Pangai and trade in JDB, Gallen and Hunt as planned, yes.

How many this week (just under 17 right?). How many trades left? If you get close to 17 this week and have 17 next week you can make up some genuine ground. I see your conundrum with half an eye on Eliminator!

How are the eliminator H2H match ups done in VSDT? Highest current rank vs lowest current rank or highest previous weeks score vs lowest previous weeks score?

thanks mate, that's right.  12 trades left.  15 players this week by trading in Capewell and Manu as cashouts for Holland and Pangai/Asiata.  Three more upgrades next week, and I'll have seven for the run home.

Edit: 15 players before Capewell and Manu. So 17 players in total.

Previous week's score. Not sure if the bye rounds scores count (eliminator takes a break over the three big byes).

    Finished the round with a 562 from 11 players including S.Radradra's 2
and missed out on a score from Javid Bowen.
Hoping that's not too bad compared to the leaders.

Just had a look at the 7 teams above you. looks like pre trades between 9 and 12 players. remarkably all but one had Semi. only a couple with Barba and Norman, maybe one with Tolman and ET, no one as far as I could see with Mitchell. So your score will hopefully hold up pretty well.

Tough eliminator match up this week as expected. Team is called Bobcats, must be one of the few teams able to field 17 without trading. At least until tonight - he has both Fifita and Parker facing suspensions. Makes up for Norman getting ruled out for my team.

Good luck JJ - think I will get through, hanging onto Angus Crichton from round one finally paid off hope he keeps his spot.

Thanks AR. As another Bunnies supporter pleased to see him get into the first grade lineup.  Rate him highly.

My match-up is looking tight.  Next game will determine a lot - he has Harris, JBrom and Vunivalu.

With a question mark on Manu I can trade in an AE for Asiata.  I could just get in Barnett now, or wait to see what happens with the Roosters and Sharks lineup and potentially use someone like Prior, Capewell or Liu instead if I need the points...
