I've decided to keep ET and trade SST to Mannering.

My thinking behind it is a couple of things. I may have enough going into next week with 7 trades to go straight to Mitchell to Teddy in 1 trade. If I kept SST he'd probably lose money whereas ET should hit his BE even go past it. If I need an extra 10K to fund the Mitchell to Teddy trade, I'm thinking about doing a sideways trade of ET to someone like Finucane to get a solid backup player while getting Ted in my 17. Keeping ET over SST should give me more options of a worthwhile sideways trade.

Also, I think ET could have a big game. He's a new recruit that puts in the hard yards and want to keep his spot. With the Farrah shit, perhaps some of the squad will feel a bit dejected and ET not having any ties with the history of the club could pick up the slack if the rest don't pull their weight due to this.

Really hoping graham busts out a score closer to 60 tonight. He's been underwhelming of late

Your team looks solid, having the most expensive Team I expect you to get a top 3 spot Trophy
I've had a look at some of the other teams and it will take them a few rounds/trades to get their strongest 17 on the park after the byes.
You seem to have a strong 17 ready with Gutho, Mansour, and Gordon peaking at the right time.

May the Force be with you!

    Seem like good trades...?

That will leave me with 5 trades and $160K in the bank.

What are you saving 160k for? Wrong time of the year to have cash on the sidelines. You can get any halve so why not get the best?

To be fair, Hunt started at around 500K didn't he?

but he is priced at 380 for a reason now.Id rather spend a bit more on Thurston or DCE in the halves. If you have Cartwright in the 2nd row surely Matterson to a backrow/front row option(via dpp) is a way better way to go anyway.

I don't think its unreasonable to think that the Broncos will emerge from the slump post origin and Hunt's scores might improve as a result.

If you have trades left always useful to have a bit of cash so that if injury hits, or you want to upgrade you have maximum options available.

I paid a premium for Bunt and I'm glad he's in my team but if I were trading in a half this week it'd be JT.

There is nothing saying that Hunt can't be priced back at around 500K by seasons end, he is a gun and has the ability and showed glimpses of a return to form last week.  I picked him up last week myself and don't regret it, I think he'll continue to get back to form.  Yes, his form has been shit over the last couple of months and his currently priced under 400K for a reason, but there is also a reason why he started the year at the price that he did.

Saying that, if I had to choose this week between Hunt ant JT, I would probably lean slightly towards JT.

IMHO that is cheap consonsidering his scoring potential if the Broncos come out of their origin slump and get on the hammer.

How many other halves in that price range (or any) have posted 11 50+ fantasy scores so far this year :-)

Bit random but just something I've been looking at. I really would have thought that Hodgson's scores would have improved over last few games. Now playing 80mins as hooker/ball playing lock when baptist is on. You'd think that would be in his favour for points. As effective the combo might be on field, not convinced fantasy wise as a pod. Average of 45ish I think.

Taylor has confirmed that Cherrington will play hooker for the Tiges on the weekend. Whether he plays the full 80 or not (coming back from an ankle injury) and whether he shares the role are a different story.

That's a good thing for ET owners isn't it? Halatau to the bench, or he starts and Cherrington on the bench I wonder?

As an ET owner I'm hoping that it means the interchanges (and you would presume with a young hooker coming back from injury that there will be) will be between Cherrington and Halatau.

TBH though I think that is more wishful thinking on my behalf, knowing Taylor in the way that all fantasy coaches do, I expect that ET will play 60 minutes including 4 8 minute stints at hooker before he is benched because that strategy is not working but Taylor didn't want to admit that he is a complete fucktard with about as many brains in his head as Donald Trump has hair follicles.
