NRL has handed down its suspension of Corey Norman. Gone for the remainder of the year.

Mansour, Pearce or JT?

Depends on your HLF's and WFBs. I traded out Mansour weeks ago then he starts busting out big scores so trade him in.jstands wrote:Mansour, Pearce or JT?

Not sure I would say JT is the most stable. Certainly has more potential and a higher ceiling and is, of course, playing in a winning team. However, Morgan is now back to share his workload. Pearce on the other hand is basically having to run the halves on his own. Pretty sure we saw on the weekend that Watson has absolutely no kicking game.
Both are more stable than Mansour tho.

Hunt, DCE, Barba
Tedesco, Munster, Mitchell
Basically selling Mitchell for one of those three, with the option of selling Barba for another in a week or 2 depending on what happens

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 45
Urgh, another week, another tough decision. I have Guth, Norman, Finucane and JDB/Graham to decide between, with 5 trades and 198K.
Initially I intended to bring in Teddy and Fifi this week for Guth and JDB, but now I'm thinking I should hold Guth a week longer and go Fifi + Manners/Podene/someone else. I don't know why Finucane scored so poorly not being able to see the game but that's scared me a little.
I know Norman is a lot of cash sitting idle but I have Cleary and SJ as well so I think I should make the trades on blokes dropping in value now before I'm stuck with them and look at picking up a half + Teddy next week as my final two trades. That would only leave me with 1 for injuries though.
Should I instead keep JDB/Finucane and hope they come good? I'm stuck :S.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 45
Had originally planned just to get Fifita in this week and hold 5 trades for the futures
Now I'm thinkin of leaving Fifita out and bringing in Gallen and Merrin for JWH and Mitchell.
Will mean one of Cleary, Milf or Carty misses the squad this week
Too risky with Fifita going big most weeks??

@Archer, JDB will definitely bounce back, especially with the Dragquens still fighting for a spot in the 8. Finucane could go in my books. Not that he's not a good player, just doesn't translate as often as you'd like.
Norman is gone for the year so let him sit for a week or so til you need the coin.

@Liverpool, I wouldn't leave Fifi out. Neither of the others you've named will outscore him or are a POD (maybe Merrin a little bit but not really) and I know you're trying to go for max points as well as get a few head to heads.
I'd be bringing Fifi in for JWH if you can swing it.
If you hold Mitchell does he have to play or have you got cover?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 45
Cheers, JDB worries me because since Rd 14 he has scored 45, 40, 37, 89, 37. His great scores earlier in the year seem to come from bigger minutes than he gets now days so I'm not completely sold on him. Agree on Norman (leaving him a week actually means I can loophole if I don't captain Smith, so I might try that) and Finucane though.Mearcats wrote:@Archer, JDB will definitely bounce back, especially with the Dragquens still fighting for a spot in the 8. My original move was Fifi for JWH so am happy to stick with it.
Mitchell will only be cover, have Munster, Barba and Guth back there this week.

Aiight mate, I'll give you some. Looking at my team posted above before trades:
1) Would you skip putting the C on Smith so you can try loophole
2) If you were loopholing, what combination would you run in that team
3) Does anything change If i bring in say Fifi and Manners

The problem with JDB is that Dragons actually have 4 locks playing (if you count Friz, Mooper and Host alongside him) which means a lot of guys that can play minutes. The reason that I'd stick with him for the time being is that this week they play the Tiges and have a hugely shuffled roster meaning that you would expect them to rely on proven performers for a few more minutes.
Even if it is just for one more week I would certainly count Finucane as a more pressing trade. Holding onto Guth allows you to see what he does this week and maybe give a little more insight into how Parra is going to use him and also allows you to close the gap in price a little bit between he and Teddy.
