The problem with JDB is that Dragons actually have 4 locks playing (if you count Friz, Mooper and Host alongside him) which means a lot of guys that can play minutes. The reason that I'd stick with him for the time being is that this week they play the Tiges and have a hugely shuffled roster meaning that you would expect them to rely on proven performers for a few more minutes.

Even if it is just for one more week I would certainly count Finucane as a more pressing trade. Holding onto Guth allows you to see what he does this week and maybe give a little more insight into how Parra is going to use him and also allows you to close the gap in price a little bit between he and Teddy.

So is your suggestion to only do one trade this week (Finucane) and wait and see if anything changes come next week?

Done deal, now to sort out reserves.

Lucky dip this week with so many options. Have Macca, Tolman, Brom, Whitey, Taylor to choose from with the possibility of Bodene also playing although unlikely

Aiight mate, I'll give you some. Looking at my team posted above before trades:
    1) Would you skip putting the C on Smith so you can try loophole
    2) If you were loopholing, what combination would you run in that team
    3) Does anything change If i bring in say Fifi and Manners

100% comfortable with not putting the C on Smith this week. A) you can loophole and B) there's a chance he gets a rest anyways.

For your loophole, couple of choices (but both revolve around having a decent option to back up). VC one of your halves. Cleary tore Bris a new one last time they played and SJ is due to go big. Then put your C on Fifita if you bring him in.

If you don't bring in Fifi I'd lock Smith in as my C...

Also @Archer, just for interest sake, a quick look at JDB shows that he only really needs to get about another 10mins to improve his score in a big way. Anytime he plays under 50 minutes he seems to struggle but the minute he gets over that 60 minute mark only twice has he gone under 50 points. Whether he gets that time or not remains to be seen.

Maybe the kid needs to warm up a bit more prior to the game! Hahaha.

Just on BHunt, if he finished the year around the $380,000 mark. minus any must have rookie priced players he would be the highest selected player in the game next year.

At least you will have no regrets about choosing the wrong reserves Very Happy
I only have 18 players (+ Copley who doesn't count) and I'm struggling to choose. I don't know how everyone with their massively stacked teams of 20+ manage to decide who to play and who to leave out.

Really? You know something we don't? You want to leave Tolman out... A guy who has been averaging 55 over his past 5 and near 65 over his past three and play Whitehead or Friend?

Nah, nah, seems perfectly sane to me. Lololololololololololol

Dogs have a full pack again now, unlikely he will be playing 80 (which is the reason his scores have been inflated)

True, same can be said for Roosters last game (Friend still scored shit) and Raiders this game with Papa back from injury tho. Question is who it will affect most.

FWIW I'm leaving Lichaa and Gordon on the pine. It's taken me a whole week to make that decision but I'm OK with it now

    I think........

As a conservative player I wouldn't pick a WFB over gun forwards or a KM eating half

Also a tough choice. You can join the club with Welshy and I. The NFIWISD (nofuckinideawhatishoulddo) club.

TBH in your instance I think all of the above are more reliable than Barba (except maybe Cleary, I'm expecting that bubble to burst sooner or later) but man, Barba could tear shreds off the Knights this week just for fun.
