didn't make it past round 1 of the Eliminator

And I blame all those guys listed in my previous post, only Claw has a valid excuse

My team has well and truly let me down this week.

Knew I should have gone with my gut instead of looking at price tag.

Looks like I score 970 ish on averages, but I still get ELIMINATED. FU ELIMINATOR, FU in your most un-preferred hole

I haven't even checked my eliminator since finding out my opponent was our Russell Crowe.
Heading for sometihng like 950 for the week if Surgess gets his average.

Will be able to see the first half of the game tonight as well which will be nice.

At 944... With S.Burgess to play. Like many, hoping for my first 1k of the year. 

Gallen, James and Tedesco were disappointing. But Barba and Merrin were outstanding. Barba could have had 5 tries...

I feel ya. I'm 932 + Surgess. Not bad but my opponent is 968 + Surgess...

Didn't get a chance to watch the dragons tigers yesterday. Any reason why jdb played 80? Injury related or just general dragons unpredictability? I noticed host didn't play, maybe that was a reason

I am sure that if you went to a match in Auckland you would find alot of people do the same

Yea since the replacement was on his debut and the Dragons were losing i guess he kept his best team on for as long as he could resulting in JDB playing 80 mins

I traded Semi - Tedesco and Norman - Bmoz. Problem? I fail to see how that is a bad trade as that is all I can afford. Please explain?

Yeah I thought you would be free of your QLD avatar after the Tigers game. Surprised Tedesco didnt score above his average vs the Dragons.

What's the problem with Bmoz?
He is a boom bust type player so will probably score 60 next week followed by another 20.
Still averages at 40 in the end.

I realize that the opposition doesn't play a huge part but it was the Cowboys in Townsville.
Same thing I mentioned halves scoring poor when playing the sharks (They get targeted by Ennis/Lewis). Sometimes attacking players just don't score well against decent defence.

Anyways all in hindsight now, could probably afford most WFB/CTR players in the game at 408k but
sometimes you need to gamble on a player.

My backs look like this, hindsight is to go Barba over Aitken but sometimes you don't get it right and it's a gamble. Keeps things interesting and still don't know how he fits into my side next week.

Do you go Barba next week who relies entirely on attacking stats or a more 'reliable' player with great base stats (Fending + offloads)

End of the day you can't really bag someone out for making a trade or a decision, as long as they own it
