I'm thinking of dumping Ryan James this week too, but to bring in Fifita. Current bank balance doesn't allow a single trade if James drops $30k next week, which is quite likely with a BE of 97. Also, 2 of the top 3 teams in my main H2H league don't own him
5 trades left after the above trade - other FRF J Bromwich and Graham.
Good idea?

I forget Cartwright and Merrin are both Panthers. Have done that twice now lol fail. I shall wait and see how everyone goes this week then since it's not an urgent trigger pull.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
No doubt I will be proved wrong, but the people thinking about selling Ryan James are crazy. Unless you have about 12 trades left.... sure try merrin, try podene when he is fit, gamble on Gallen.
Sure he has had a lower than average past 3 weeks.
BUUUUUUUT
He is a player that can score 60+ without scoring a try and when he does (on average every third game), his score goes balistic.
When the coach has finished resting him (hopefully now), he will go back to playing 60+ minutes and back to scoring 60+ a game.

Certainly I wouldn't be selling James this week.
I reckon he'll go well against the Sharks. I think the Titans will be up for it.

Damn Crisis averted, another busy week so I decided I won't be trading any broncos/roosters this week so I didn't need to look at the team until tonight. Remembered at the last minute that I have to sort out my captain and move Manners back into the 17 after last weeks loophole.
Milchy almost had a chance in Random's league.

Hmmmm... actually I MIGHT make a trade. Norman -> Pearce could be a goer me thinks.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
Ok, going back to the wisdom of the crowd since it did me a solid last week.
So I've got Guth, Norman and Barnett in the team. 115k. 4 trades. But nfi what I should be doing.
I can't afford to straight trade out Norman to someone simarly priced, upgrade Barnett AND upgrade Guth. I can maybe afford two of those with a little cash left over.
I think since I've already got the money tied up in Norman (and freeing it to upgrade Barnett to anyone like Fifi would mean an extra trade to downgrade Norman), I'm better off just holding Barnett as an 18th man. Go Norman -> Pearce this week and possibly trade out Guth next week. Leaving me with two trades and a little cash left. Sound logic?

I would be more worried that SI is keeping tabs on you. Essentially...
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
Otherwise I could skip any thoughts on upgrading Guth and run with Guth, Aitken, Munster as my back 3. Go Norman -> Pearce and Barnett -> ~400K. But as Barnett (or whoever I replace him with) is likely to be running as my 18th man that option seems silly. Think I've convinced myself.... maybe.

Why Pearce? Why not guys like Mbye, Hunt, Cronk, or Reynolds. Some guys cost more than Pearce, but the guys who don't have a high potential upside. (Mbye and Hunt) and free up cash to use in the future if you need to make a trade. Other than that, sound logic.

Hmmmm, I haven't really done much analysis on the halves tbh. Will take a quick look now before my meetings. Thanks for the spark.Random wrote:
