So many shitty shitty decisions this year

Nice work guys and my first 1000 pointer this year! Amazing how similar the teams must be, I've gone up 30 odd spots into the low 800's which means everyone above me is knocking out 1000 pointers too.

1043 and up only 5 spots. People are right its too hard to make up ground unless there are a whole lot of injuries/suspensions.

Which goes to show that your chances of winning are pretty much determined by the first 18-19 rounds...after that everyone has their final 17 in place and is scoring the same.

Fifita is making things very difficult, his scores make him an automatic captain pick but he could be sent off at any moment.

1042. My highest NRL Fantasy score ever. To think I could have scored 1100 if I (c) Fifita and played Barba. Ah well.

Some people lost their Eliminator even though they scored 1000+. Tough times!

Finished on 1013, 19 points in updates overnight, incredible. Second week in a row cracking the 1K, good times.  Wish I stuck with Captain Fifita though instead of Smith.  Finally third week of owning Gallen he comes through.

Really hope some key players get rested in coming weeks and others don't have the trades to replace them.

Any news on Fifita's injury?

Got 1029 points....moved up 1 place to 81st....lost eliminator by 8 - Well done @Loomer hope you go on to win it so I can morally claim 2nd equal....)

Hope the next few weeks aren't too anti-climactic with everyone scoring roughly the same, having the same teams...

Need something to happen to shake things up a bit (not wishing an injury on anyone in particular tho...*cough* Cleary *cough*)

What do you guys think?  I have 6 trades but only 7K and am looking at one more double trade for one final upgrade.  My team;

Smith (Friend)
Fifita Gallen (Ese Leulua)
Merrin Mannering Surgess (ET Carty Talakai)
SJ Hunt (Cleary Feeny)
Aitken BJ (Hurrell Copley)
Teddy Munster Barba (Guth Manu)

Thinking I aim for DeBelin.  Downgrade Copley and upgrade ET.  I think I want to keep Carty, has more potential I think.  Or do I downgrade someone like Guth and upgrade to Bodene or James.  Don't think I need another gun back.

Or I can downgrade Guth, get 200K, upgrade ET to DeBelin and then still have 140K to upgrade someone like Hurrell to say a JBrom next week?

I would keep Guth as a back-up Centre, Hurrell might not pull up well after last nights injury, BJ's scores might be down with Sharks,Storm, Eels next in line.

Lol yip, if the likes of Graham, Surgess, Fifi, Cleary, Barba, Tedesco decide they want a rest this week that would certainly make things a bit more interesting.

I'm not reading too much into the matchup the Raiders have. BJ and Rapa would still have plenty of opportunity I think. Don't think I could not play him. I think you're right about Guth, better to have that backup. Hurrell was just a cashout 2 weeks ago, but if he's out, I'll downgrade him. if not will just downgrade Copley and get DeBelin for ET and keep 4 trades for injuries/rested players.

I think Friz will get off though.

Mansour has messed me up, He is facing the absolute worst defensive teams and i don't have him. Should i use my final two trades to get him in? I am only playing H2H and i may go out first playoff round if i don't get him.

I might just go all-or-nothing as i will definitely regret it if i keep those trades and i get eliminated.

Fuck I wish I had captained Fifita this week especially since I'm one of the few who don't believe in "Always Captain Cam". Could have ended up with 981 points instead of 948 although my fantasy floppers like Mitch Rein and Anthony Milford would have denied me my first 1000 anyway. C'est La Vie
