Cleary I can see actually improving on his wonderful rookie campaign in fantasy and real life, especially if TMM gets the other half spot because Cleary will kick for 400m a game if he does, add that to a years worth of experience and I think he will explode

On the halfs I've started picking Cleary in all my drafts lately with Norman and Elgey as a reserve

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2
I reckon Nona has the best chance of playing. He won't play in round 1 but probably will feature at some stage. I might get him as my 4th half.
Any love for Blake Green. We haven't discussed him. If Manly want DCE to be a running half then Green should get decent kick mtrs. Plus he's an explosive ball runner himself & can find the try line. With Manly having 2 home games to start the season he should go all right.
Anyone doing a team with Seggy instead of Smith. It gives you plenty cash to spread out.

I've read someone has done some good work with old fantasy data ?
I think JWH is a very decent option, certainly priced below what he is capable of busting out

What I was thinking. Averaging 66 mins or so last three matches. Was he injured twice last season?
Looked at some data too, roosters statistical profile revealed a much better team than their finishing position suggested

I'm not feeling JWH. That's because I can't touch him.
His role is as an enforcer not a gatherer of fantasy points. He only average 35 in 2016. Imo he peaked 2 years ago.

Can't see Green kicking much more than he did at the Storm mate, so unless he goes bananas with attacking stats can't see room for a massive improvement in scores, steady eddy!
Yes, my latest draft with Smith and Seg allowed for a much better balanced team and still had the likes of Surgess, Norman, Cleary, Tedesco

His role was severely hampered by injury mate, much like Gurgess

Hehe. Have an extended interest in Fantasy Premier League as well. Like to focus on one at a time.

Daniel Saifiti the main prop at Newcastle now?
Looks to me like he can really kick on and go in the 40-50 range

And less riskier than JWH and George Burgess. Not that much more in price. What the hell happened to George last yr?
Just looked at JWHs big minute games from last yr, not pretty
