    Hi, everyone!!!!!!!!

Felt like a really long off season but so glad now we're talking about footy again.

Special mention to Sik and Shanbon for the new additions to their families. Congratulations guys.

Apparently Lussick injured & will miss opening 5-6 games. Does this mean Fonua-Blake will start. It's probably good for L. Perrett as well as he should secure a bench spot.

I do t see how Vaughan gets 50min in that pack. Id actually expect Sims to pick up more minutes this year then last, Vaughan to stay around 40

I agree. They have so many middle forwards it's probably best to wait & see how the minutes are apportioned.

    Fantasy Talk

Best Value CTRs above Rookie price?

    Idris $194,000
    Chambers $288,000
    Whare $205,000
    Milne $286,000
    SioneMaT $299,000 if starting 2RF
    Kennar $232,000

I think Wardle @ $194,000 might surprise, reckon he defends closer to the middle of the park and scores in the 30's

BJ & Croker, because I'm done spending 3 or 4 trades at the start of the season trying to nail down that god forsaken position. Edit: Though I probably won't actually get both and I'll wind up falling into the trap of chasing "false prophet cows" there once again.

Can't help but feel Whare is a trap. Bit at that price will tempt a lot maybe even me. Idris no brainer. Will Kennar be a myth again? Sione/Idris will be 50% of teams you'd think. Chambers has fucked me over too many times. Milne was great to watch last year, haven't looked at his scores though.

Whare I don't think is a trap expectation might be too high but his 3 year previous combined avg is 30, priced at 21 never a good fantasy scorer but should make some coin none the less

Kennar should get a shot a the starting CTR position for the Dogs should he not?

Sione and Idris correct mate, Idris at his price as you say is a no brainer for his scoring potential

Chambers 10 points down on previous 2 year avg, injury affected season and only scored 2 tries, could be a big mover

Milne has some great base stats (17 tackles and 110 RM a game avg) small sample size, only started and played 80 5 times for a 42 avg, Can bust some tackles aswell

Definate value there like all positions but trouble as you say is wading through the muck to find the right ones. A SioneMat and Idris combo seems like a decent cost saving starter, both have keeper potential in the CTR. You can have that pairing for just $29,000 more than BJ alone, you can't even fit a rookie $$$ CTR in alongside BJ and I would back that pairing to outscore him 90%* of the time

*would be 100% but BJ can bust out them big ones

The Milne stats look good as he didn't score a try did he?

I like Chambers, just on my never again list. I had him once or twice early in his career as well, before he went to Rugger.

Didn't realise Kennar had...wait for it...
