A guess at an average. Everyone's opinion will differ
    Frf gun (50-60) frf med (35-45) bench/rookie (15-30)
    2rf gun (45-60) med (30-40) bench/rookie (15-25)
    Half gun (50-60) med (35-45) rookie (20-30)
    Ctr gun (40-55) med (30-40) rookie (15-25)
Wfb gun (40-55) med (20-35) rookie( 10-60) haha
    HOK gun (50-60) med 20-30. Rookie (-5-30(baptiste)
Obviously rookie/bench depend on time played unless your name is baptiste

    Hooker: 50

    2rf: 45
    HLF: 40

Random wrote:How my squad is shaping up. Not many changes from what I initially had awhile back.

    HOK: C. Smith (C. King)
FRF: A. Fifita, G. Burgess (S. Matagi, Rookie)
    2RF: P. Gallen, S. Burgess, S. Mata'Utia (S. Lane, J. Asiata, Rookie)
    HLF: B. Austin, J. Maloney (K. Elgey, B. Hampton)
CTR: D. Whare, J. Idris (C. Scott, Rookie)
    WFB: J. Tedesco, R. Tuivasa-Scheck, J. Hayne (B. Slater, A. Uate)
    Reserves: C. King, S. Matagi, S. Lane, K. Elgey
    Cash Funds: $77 000

So at the moment I have 3 Rookie slots that I haven't necessarily filled at the moment. (Though I am looking at some rookies.)

The weak spot of my team is clearly the HLF's and the CTR's. I feel on the fence about starting with Gallen, and may look at Merrin or Mannering as they are the only other 2RF guns that I would consider starting with this year as the others just are priced to high to take the risk grabbing imo.

Good team mate. I think you should pass on Gallen as he's too risky due to possible injury. Can you replace Hampton with Hingano as Hampton won't get many minutes off the bench. I'm not sure about Austin with a couple of tough opening games. I like your Maloney pick & imo he'll be expected to take more control of the attack with Ennis gone. Nothing wrong with your ctrs imo. Maybe your rookie ctr could be B. Kelly who has a very good chance to play round 1.

Here's what I'm running with atm. Cheapies are a lottery until tlt but tried to be realistic. Only have 12k left over but would like a bit more tbh

    Segeyaro, King
    Fifita, R. James, Musgrove (Spina)
Surgess, Sione M., K-Brom, Hess (Capewell, Stimson)
    SJ, A-Rey, Cartwright (Hingano)
Whare, Idris (C. Scott, B. Kelly)
Gutherson, RTS, Hayne (R. Jennings, Duffy)

It lacks a bit of depth so had to play King as last reserve so I might have to downgrade elsewhere.

Minimum averages needed for a keeper at each position.

    HOK: 50 Points
    FRF: 50 Points
    2RF: 50 Points
    HLF: 45 Points
    CTR: 40 Points
    WFB: 40 Points

This is what I am for when it comes to looking at keepers. People who will average that over the course of the year I consider keepers.

Awww gummon! Hes certainly a character/fan favorite but this club desperately needs some good props to provide go forward and unfortunately he doesn't really offer that. He has a lot of heart though. I wish him well if he goes to another club.

Just had a play around with a top heavy team - very hard to fit the top guns in.

Smith, McInnes                       (I will run with this if Segy doesn't come back to the nrl)
Fifita, Vaughan, AFB, Rookie    (thinking if I don't have Fifita from the start I won't have him until after Origin as he will miss 5 games during origin).
Surgess, McGuire, Hess, Kennedy, K Capewell, J Stimson
    Norman, DCE, Elgey, Hingano
    Idris, Scott, Kelly, M Seve
RTS, Hayne, Dufty, R Jennings, B Abbey

Although its a given there won't be 9 rookies named in round 1 you could almost risk it given most of them are 1 injury away and have good bye schedules.

If the 17 performed week 1 you could nearly hit 850 with a team like that.

Not sure its paramount you have 25 players playing round 1. After week 1 last year I had Henry, Littlejohn, Nathan Green benched and maybe 1 or 2 more etc, managed to come 24th after being 10,000th after week 1.

EDIT: McGuire in second row will happen before round 1 as he should be named in the 13 jersey. Just another reason to go with him as DPP will come in handy as there aint many around this year.

I have been thinking about the Titans lately, and there seems to be one extra body in the middle row. Who do you think will miss out? The way I see it:

    1. Hayne
    2. Don
    3. Sarginson
    4. Hurrell
    5. Olive / (Zillman?)
    6. Elgey
    7. Taylor
    8. Wallace
    9. Peats
    10. James
    11. Proctor
    12. Taia/ McQueen
    13. Paasi
    14. Roberts
    15. Pulu
    16. Shillington
    17. Simpkins

    Anybody I am missing?

So either Taia or McQueen will get bumped to reserve grade. I hear Paasi is injured to start the year anyway, so they may both make the cut initially- but given the history of Henry running with three props on the bench in 2016, either one of them needs to make way, or else bump Roberts out of the utility role.

Also unsure about where Olive places over Zillman. I think he must be ahead since he was signed until 2018 recently and Zilly's contract over at the end of this season. Could be important for basement cashcow reasons.
