Please please no-one post the Norman/Seggers footage again! If you can't help yourself then at least put it behind a spoiler...

I am one of the rare few who has yet to see that footage and I would like to keep it that way.

They could even run robson as the utility that way if an outside back goes down robson goes to half and gutherson out wide.
So if they start with IDG then king might not even get a bench spot

Paul Vaughan is a better player than only getting forty minutes.
Just think early on he can hit the ground running and score in the 45-50 range.

Wouldn't be the first time the Tigers picked someone so they would fail a drug test and would allow them to terminate the players contract.

With extended leadership groups some of them won't always be in first grade. Parra named an 8 man leadsership group. I bet there are very few weeks where all 8 play first grade at the same time.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread Part 3
On the mid range props.
Generally they are a bad idea. Established forwards rarely suddenly become fantasy guns overnight.
It does happen though. Last year Ryan James went from a mid 30s mistake ridden plodder to 60 average fantasy heavyweight.
On the other hand, Lesson Ah Mau (last pre-seasons equivalent of Vaughan) went from an average of 40 to just over 33.
That's why George Burgess interests me most of the mid range props. He has averaged around 50 for 3 years in a row before stuttering last year. I'd rather back him returning to those highs than on Vaughan significantly improving on his 3 year average of low 40s

Same reason I think JWH is more likely to return to form than Wallace is to suddenly become a good fantasy player

I'm thinking of starting with McGuire, DSaifiti, with AFB (just because he's the flavour of the day) + 143k as reserves.
This gives me the option of moving McGuire to the 2RFs later, and trading out DSaifiti for Gurgess if George is looking to be back to his usual self. (I would prefer to start with Fifita or Graham, but that would blow the budget as I'm already spending big on my twin cam in the Hooker position)

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread Part 3
I'm finding the FRF the most difficult to lock down. Pretty much every other position I have had unchanged for some time, but the FRF I keep fiddling with will always open up new cash options which affects silly things in my team (like who my reserve hooker is, probably my most flux non-FRF position; whether I run with Slater or chip in a little extra for Holmes; If I carry a mid-range NPR like Aloiai). The problem is that the pool list of FRF players I am interested in is far too large, so I can swap and change until the cows come home. Really only 3-4 players I'm interested in at WFB anyway, 2-3 at CTR, I don't like any HLFs as it is but I begrudgingly chose 2, Sometimes I add ET to my second row but usually go back to my mid-rangers fairly quick.
And yet...
FRF potentials:
Fifita, Bromwich, McGuire, Vaughan, Klemmer, Daifiti, Brown/Alvaro (if either starts), JWH, Prior, Paasi (when fit), Gurgess, Wallace, AFB, Musgrove, Matagi
And yet...

Will Hopoate thinking about playing Sundays. 2 questions
1. How would this affect price ?
2. Do the Bulldogs have the cap space to allow him to play Sundays ?

True but with Farah wanting 80 and cook playing 30 mins, Rochow coming to the club, Surgess 80 mins just don't see Gurgess returning to the scores he once did when he was getting good minutes, think the game may have changed in a way where the twins are just too exposed out there and there scores suffered last year. By taking a gamble on Vaughan I can always downgrade to Gurgess if he goes off, just not sure there is much room to manoeuvre when you start in the 350 - 300K bracket.

Not sure what to believe with Rory, every article says 6 weeks and only the one of them says 12 however it's on the NRL website

Surely Randell??
Correct me if I'm wrong. He is probably injured or signed to another club.
