Tyler Randell played hooker a bit last year

I remember last pre-season heaps of talk about David Bhana training at hooker - but did he actually spend any time there last year? He might have to this year if injuries keep up

Injury length is always a fluid thing though.

Farah was meant to be out for 6 weeks to start last year, so I gambled with Moses in my starting team. Robbie only missed 3 games though and I had to ditch Moses early.

I read an article last week (or maybe it was reporter on twitter) saying hooking would be shared between Levi and Randall and they were both fighting for the starting spot

Edit: think it was Barry Toohey who seems to be the local journo on the ground there

The Python will get some game time there as well if there's injuries. He played there for a game or two last year and looked alright.

I dont expect the knights to be as woeful this season. They had alot of young guys last year but now theyve got some NRL in their legs i reckon they are going to be competitive. Bottom four likely still, but it wont be floggings every week. They will surprise a few teams who take them lightly

Looking closer at McGuire. Zero left side attacking stats last year. By contrast, Parker scored three tries. Coincidence, or will McGuire get a chance to put up a few attacking stats?

Farah has always defied the odds with injury though, but understand you have to go with what is reported. He is a very tough hombre. Was it 2014 when he was ruled out for a month with a dislocated elbow, then less than 3 weeks later made 50 odd tackles in an Origin game?

2015 as well when half his fucking ear was ripped off in a head clash then flew to Auckland and backed up 5 days later.

Is McGuire really going to play lock when the Broncos have so many other guys ready to play there, and they just added Sims

Friz is undervalued I think and I really, really, really want him in my side to start the season

but his ongoing back issues and crowded Dragons pack probably mean he will likely get managed on a game to game basis, if he was set for 80 minutes week in, week out there is a lot of value there

That's one of the great things about Ultimate. You can select a player like Frizell and have a back up just in case he is a late withdrawal. Ill be gunning for him in L1 this year Very Happy

I've literally only done 1 draft, and that was over a week ago. I actually didn't mind it. It managed to have Captain Cam but the halves and FRF were a bit of a worry. Standard Centres and WFB and SRF from memory. It came in with 430k spare as a first crack.

There are whispers around that the team planner we ave all been using is slightly overs (eg Cam is 613 not 631).

This would be an absolute delight if true, I was a few thousand off creating a team I was enamoured with which run Cam and McInnes and had all the bells and whistles like Cleary, Norman + Ted

Nice to see someone taking a relatively fresh run at a team design and find success, how did you end up finishing the season?

This is one reason why I love draft over overall comps.

In a draft comp if you think McGuire will play lock then you draft him early and gain or lose based on what happens.
If you pick your players right then you get a real advantage

In an overall comp every one can wait until round 1 and see who the TLT winners are, then all draft on the same players
