I'm looking at Manly for the long odds shot (40's) and the Bunnies (16's) and Roosters (20's) this year

What do people think about Aiden Guerra? Was always a 45-50 point player when starting in the second row but he seemed to be out of favor last year. Priced at 45 and with Tauks injured, could he make his way back into the squad?

I mentioned Guerra a few threads back, priced below his fantasy capabillites and moved around position wise a fair bit last year 2RF, CTR, Half...was very poor at times last year and a few reckon he won't even start without Tauks

    Cordner
    Aubbs
    Liu

personally i think he will start and play 80 on the edge, so I don't mind the pick

What is happening with the Cronulla Sharks hooker position? Ennis played 80 minutes nearly every game last year. If they have a reserve hooker round 1 than surely that makes Fifita and Gallen must haves?

Both a very good picks but be careful with Gallen due to his injury history.

Tried my first no cam smith team of the year.

    Mcinnes Peats
    Fifita AFB Musgrove 143k
Surgess Mcguire KBrom SMat 143k Stimpson
    Norman Johnson Hingano 143k
    Idris Olive Kelly Scott
    RTS Hayne Holmes Rennings Phythian

with 81k left. i like it but centres very weak. relying on one of them to get a start and score well. could upgrade to whare with spare 81k or move SMat there and get whoever starts in manly 2nd row

The 2R guns are good options - are you worried about Cordner's origin prospects?

Well hes guaranteed origin bar injury
My thinking is I always worry about the byes and origin etc
But there are 11 rounds, almost 3 months of footy before then. I only have 4 origin players, so I'm just going to pick the best squad and then injuries and form will dictate trades in the first 3 months anyways Smile

Interesting team, and very different to most posted. The only pick I really don't like is Ferguson. Better WFBs at that price, or move Hayne there, downgrade Ferguson to a $138k and upgrade your second prop or Farah to Smith.

Ferguson is ONLY if he is named in the centre's. There was an article with direct quotes from him and the coach saying he's trained all offsets on in ctr as lately could be a winger and Gordon could be fb. Irl footy he's a gun at Centre but decent at wing and fb

Obviously he did the same thing with the fb position last year so this could all go to mud round 3.
But with a better team and him settled in his career now I really really like him as a bit if a POD!

Ferguson to me is the kind of player who doesn't give/perform 100% for club & saves his best football for representative matches. For some reason even if he plays shit for the Roosters the rep coaches still pick him.

Anyone who happens to live on the Central Coast the Berkeley Vale 9's is today. Tigers sent a decent squad last year including Josh Addo-Carr
