What do you have a bank of cash for, if not for trades like this?

You going to hold it for 2 months just in case something else comes along? Perrett to HEss (or anyone who is scoring well improves your team massively)

My main concern is Hess's longer term job security. but I think he might be one of those guys who will find a way into the team now that he has a spot.

True Milch, I originally intended on using the cash to turn Jayne/ATaylor into Norman but not sure if getting Hess in, is the better plan

    Smith, McInnes
    McGuire, Kaufusi, Musgrove, Perrett
DeBelin, Barnett, JTurbo, Sironen, PKaufusi, Yates
    ATaylor, Lamb, Elgey, Hayne
    DWalker, Moga, Talakai, Cotric
    RTS, Tedesco, SMat, Kelly, Whare

get Hess or upgrade one of my halves?
Like Elgey - SUli via DWalker but leaves me very light in the CTRs

So this is probably the week you want to jump on two players that are going up a lot in price after they play their third game this weekend.
Or get rid of players that will go down a lot in value (not that any of us here have any players like that :rolling laugh: )

Cheers mate, yeah I've played Sportsdeck quite a lot in Super Rugby and in NFL fantasy so yup, understand the 3 game thing. Hence the reason for chasing Hess and PetMat, but while PertMat is gonna make cash Im not sure he is the best option.

Who are others picking up in the backs in terms of guys that will make money?

The other I had in my watch list was Uate but I reckon PetMat has better potential.

Yep, you should have been expecting a bounty against the Titans.

He is a keeper still. Plenty of other trades going round this week.

I've got both him and Jacks. Sad
Other two are BLamb and SJ, so it could have been worse.

I put this on the Fantasy thread but thought I'd put it on here as well. Especially since I said earlier that I was definitely getting him.........................

It was said earlier that probably P.Kaufusi and S.Bolton should play 35-40 minutes each, which is probably close and with Cooper, Lowe and Taumololo all capable of big minutes if not 80, with Hampton, Asiata and Hoare on the bench, barring injury, where is Coen Hess going to get decent minutes from.
The last few days, couldn't wait to get him in my side, but not so sure now.............

    1. Lachlan Coote 84
    2. Kyle Feldt 84
    3. Justin O'Neill 84
    4. Kane Linnett 84
    20. Javid Bowen 84
    6. Michael Morgan 84
    7. Johnathan Thurston84
    8. Matthew Scott 60
    9. Jake Granville 59 76 (minutes round 2)
    10. Scott Bolton 56 40
    11. Gavin Cooper 84 87
    12. Ethan Lowe 57 87
    13. Jason Taumalolo 70 77
    Interchange
    14. Ben Hampton 25 41
    15. John Asiata 26 37
    16. Coen Hess 34 75
    17. Patrick Kaufusi 33 45

These are the round 1 and 2 minutes and Hess only got 34 in round 1 while he got 75 mins in round 2 only due to Winterstein coming off in the 12th minute. The next 2 weeks with Taumololo out, will benefit Hess but once he's back Hess might go back to only 35-40 mins game time and he's not scoring a try every week.
Is Coen Hess worth it ?????????????????

Given the way DTVS works, is there any quicker way to make money? lolo is out for two weeks must mean some more minutes for CHess and that adds to last weeks score to increase his price.
If you don't grab him this week it may be to late.
    Thoughts??

With Taumololo out for 2 weeks certainly helps unless Fensom just comes in to lock and plays big minutes.

im with you for 2 weeks i think, surely lowe to lock and hess to the edge

eveen if he bumps out 30-40's (which i think he still can with 40 min off the bench worst case scenario aka fensom plays) he'Ll make cash and then dump him

That is my thinking, may cost a trade or two but a gamble worth taking.
